Robyn Lawley, 25, Sports Illustrated's first "plus size" model, had her first child with partner Everest Schmidt. People reports that the couple welcomed daughter Ripley Dorothy Lawley-Schmidt on February 26th. Ripley is named after Lawley's grandmother, and shares her birthday.
Did she have a "plus size" baby? Stoopid terms.

ReplyDeleteLast night I saw a girl who was what I would call plus size (16) who I would cast as a model. Strawberry blonde hair, super tall and rocking heels. She was just so gorgeous and I told her so. Her carriage was lovely.

ReplyDeleteRunway models have to be Size 0 or 2. The rest of the models are expected to be no larger than a Size 6 and preferable 2 - 4. Heidi Klum as I recall is size 4 - 6. So really anything over Size 8 is considered plus size in terms of high fashion. Size 14 is considered the start of the plus size in terms of ready to wear off the rack clothes.
