Harrison Ford Injured In Plane Crash

TMZ reports that Harrison Ford was injured yesterday when the small plane that he was piloting crashed onto a Los Angeles golf course. A witness states that she saw the plane nose dive onto the course, and that Ford was conscious when people pulled him out of the plan. Ford had a huge gash on his head. Ford has been flying planes for many years; this is not his first crash.

  1. I'd probably give up the hobby at this point. He's lucky he's survived two crashes; his luck is going to run out at some point.

    2. @auntliddy, Hemingway and his wife were in a plane crash in Africa. They were picked up by a rescue plane, which also crashed, so they finished their trip by road. Can't blame them!

  9. He could have hurt other people. I read he's crashed quite a few times. They need to revoke his pilot's license....or do they only do that after you've killed someone?

  10. I read this is his second plane crash but he's also crashed a helicopter. There was a copilot in the helicopter and they said that crash was due to mechanical failure. All I know is I'd never get in a flying machine with him flying it. Travolta's been flying for years and I've never heard of him crashing.

Ford said he flies all the time including search and rescue stuff. I think I'd probably hang it up unless I had a certified copilot flying with me for back up. The plane this time was a vintage war plane so it may have been mechanical failure again. Scary stuff.

If your vintage car breaks down you don't free fall from the clouds, you just pull over to the shoulder and call AAA.
