Richard Gere Feels Like A Teenager

Richard Gere will be appearing in the sequel to the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. At a recent screening, Gere spoke about aging. Page Six quotes him as follows:

"I'm 65, probably one of the young ones in this group, but if you really look at these people, these are all teenagers. I'm still a teenager. Everyone is open to the possibilities, so in essence it really isn't about age...but people who are yearning for connection, yearning to love. These people are damaged. I don't think there's anyone in this room, even the young kids...who haven't been damaged. We understand heartache [and] moving on."

  7. Lol, reminds me of my teenage daughter talking about her teenage friends: "All so-and-so does is talk, talk, talk continuously and says absolutely nothing!"

Kinda like I feel is what's going on here. Reading it just makes me go "huh?"

  8. What a load of CRAP! Why not just say the old reliable - you're only as old as you feel? You aren't getting paid by the word Richard.

  9. There should be fines for people who tie up the courts with petty bullshit like this, and also for people who call 911 for non-emergency reasons such as McDonald's being out of chicken nuggets.

  10. Whoops, wrong post, I meant about the dum-dum who sued Applebee's. Got distracted by my cat and went to the wrong post.

As for Richard Gere he sounds delusional, and I hope those nasty stories about gerbils aren't true, because poor little gerbils.

  11. Shame he's so up his own gerbil butt, I've always kinda liked him. I imagine he would be insufferable in person, "but let me give you my karmic view on that".....

  12. Someone I love told me that we're all just babies on this planet. No one lives long enough to grow old. Maybe this is where Gere was coming from. I appreciate what he was trying to say. Respect. BW
