Leonard Nimoy Memorialized

Leonard Nimoy's funeral was held in Los Angeles on Sunday. Page Six reports that the service was attended by 300 guests, including Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, JJ Abrams, and Zachary Quinto. William Shatner tried to rush back from a charity event in Florida in time for the ceremony, but did not make it in time. However, Shatner's daughters Melanie and Lisabeth were in attendance.

Tom Selleck recently spoke to Seth Meyers about Leonard Nimoy:

  1. I think it's messed up how the media tried to shame William Shatner for not being able to attend.

    1. I agree, @Lotta. I read something on FB by a guy who claims to be somehow connected to Shatner and he went on a rant about the way the media was acting, saying Leonard wouldn't have wanted Bill to cancel that charity gig for his funeral.

      :/

  2. The good news is those idiots from Westboro weren't able to able to find the funeral location. They tweeted a stupid sad face and a vine. Boo diddly hoo.

I think some of the shame Shatner got was b/c he was kind of an ahole. Takei and Nemoy both vaguely hinted that the A in the Shat should've been an I.

    1. As a mother of 2, I just donated to help a little; I hope they raise a lot more. So sorry for the loss of this young mother, and so sad for her children who will never know her. Thanks for sharing her story so that others may help if possible.
