Lady Gaga Participate in Chicago Polar Plunge

The city of Chicago held a Polar Plunge event over the weekend in which participants ran into the freezing cold Lake Michigan to raise money for the Special Olympics. Two of the celebrity participants were Lady Gaga, and her fiancé Taylor Kinney, who stars on the show Chicago Fire. Vince Vaughn also took place in the fundraiser, sporting a Chicago Blackhawks jersey, reports Us Weekly. This year's Polar Plunge raised over $1 million.

  1. She could have worn some fancy swim hat rather than her wig! But good that she participated and everyone, famous or not who did. The Special Olympics are a very worthy cause.

  5. Holy fuck. I can't even imagine how cold that was in Chicago. They do a Polar Bear at the Jersey Shore. My husband did it when he was wild and crazy in his 20s. I can't believe y'all are hating on her during a charity event in the bitter cold. Tough crowd. Ha.

  6. I can't believe she didn't take this opportunity to wear something ridiculous. A polar plunge is the perfect place for hoof heels.
