Reservoir Dogs - classic Idiocracy- never fails to crack me up Up - good luck holding back tears Hedwig- you wanna tear me down? Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back- I could probably recite it in my sleep
Naked with David Thewlis has a very disturbing beginning which certainly makes it memorable - first time in my life I was going to turn off a movie so soon because I hated the main character already - but clever device by the screenwriter/director because I had to watch and see him get his comeuppance.
I even gave that horrible Caligula movie 10 minutes - I am still not sure I had a bootleg copy because it was so badly shot, I could have done better camera work
Contact: Original theatrical release. There was this beautiful down the wormhole sequence that separated the movie goer from the outside world. It was a beautiful way in which to allow the movie goer to be brought into the film. I've always felt this was a unique experience I wish more filmmakers would employ.
(Yes, I know, quite an obscure reference, but still interesting.)
