ReplyDeleteOne time I was on one of those "buccaneer" rides at a carnival - you know, those pirate ships that swing back and forth and keep going higher and higher? Well, a girl across the way threw up during the ride and ... well, I'll just leave the rest to your imagination. It was horrifying for everyone.
ReplyDeleteMy friend CLAIMS (but could be exaggerating) that one time in what was called a Silly Silo (a spinning "ride" in which the inertia of the spin holds you to the wall even when the floor drops down), someone got motion sick and vomited fair food, and the vomit hit each person in the face as the ride spun, one at a time. He was on the other side of the person who vomited so he was the last person to get hit, and saw it hit everyone else knowing it was coming for him but couldn't do anything to evade it.
ReplyDeleteAs bad as that story already is, I keep thinking about how many people I know who vomit when they see or hear someone else vomit, and I imagine a chain reaction vomithon in that Silly Silo....
