  2. I am working, actually I am not. I am technically at work and not working.

  3. Watching a Ghost Adventures marathon on TV and turning on every light in the house, even though it's daytime.

    1. That show is ridiculous but I love it and watch with the lights on as well. That and A Haunting.

    2. I think it's ridiculous, too, but it still gives me the creeps when I watch it. I like a good fright every now and then.

  4. @Jessi - I'm having to work too...probably 2/3 of the company is on vacation today. So it's definitely a "technically at work" type of thing....

  5. Absolutely freezing here..
just finished my breakfast of Champions. .
aka leftovers.. and I have 2 tiny fur babies staring at me and whining rather pissy like because they're hanngry.. and they only like to be hand fed on sofa so they have to wait for me to finish my breakfast first and get settled on sofa... but I ran through KFC drive through yesterday and got 2 grill breasts and tore the skins off last night and only gave them a few bites last night so they don't know I have plenty for today. . A little for Breakfast and then more throughout the day... the get mad when they have to wait for food but they want me to hand feed them so they have to wait. . But it will be worth it..

Then all day bundled on sofa finishing Californication. On season 6 now..
I heart David Duchovny so much now..
I never watched X files ever so I never saw why everyone was so obsessed with him but now I get it..
Natasha Mcwhatever. Was in a lot of b list movies in the late 90s I saw and I always thought she was breathtakingly beautiful and underrated as an actress. It's a shame she doesn't get more work. . She can act circles around most women in Hollywood and has aged wonderfully. . Unlike most of the botox trash boxes out there now..

    2. Wasn't there a blind on her at the site that shall not be named that said she always dressed in her Elly Mae character? Some folks guessed Barbara Eden. Or maybe I have it backwards.

  11. applied for a *gasp* job, I am semi retired but bored.
owner intercepted me in the parking lot on my way to HR, took my resume and gave me his cell # and told me to call him late Monday when the holiday dust has cleared so its looking good. Job is being his PA so by running into him I bypassed a few steps! We talked for about 1/2 hr, hit it off well. Hoping for the best.

  14. Mr. Freud just got pulled over while running errands but the cop was nice, shockingly, so we got off with a warning. Nice start to our New Year, I would say.

  15. Enjoying my last true day of winter break. Back to the grindstone tomorrow. :/ At least I get to spend it being snarky! :D

Good luck, @PV! And @Snarky, I'm so sorry for your loss. :(

I've decided to completely redo my food blog for the new year and I'm stumped finding a nice theme (WordPress). I find one that I like, then I find another one that I like, then another one, and suddenly I have eighteen tabs open and ten of them are on sale today only and then it's too late because I'm indecisive. Le sigh.

    2. When all else fails, I'm a big proponent of "eenie, meenie, money, moe" if for no other reason than you eliminate one you don't like.

  16. I went on that other site yesterday and noticed that TTM was back and a poster named "Gus" was trying to mess with her. I wondered if it was the same TTM, who admittedly I thought was a pain in the a$$ before she dramatically stopped posting. To figure out if it was, I clicked on her profile and eventually landed on the "book club" site. Bored, I randomly clicked on a post and "WOW." TTM was going into graphic detail about porn she and her hubby watched and wanted others to opine on if it was "normal." I thought perhaps she'd borrowed it from "Count" based on the details she was graphically describing. If she wants to watch porn, that's her business, but the woman has her photo posted and has kids (who she brought up in the same post). Maybe I'm being too prudish, but it struck me a desperate attempt to be "cool" and draw the attention of the men in general and One-Eyed Charlie, particularly. There is just something "off" with her and her "followers."

I tend to observe more than post (unless I know the people involved or have friends who do), but want to say I do enjoy the comments and insights of the people on here. Happy 2015 to all.

    1. It's really not nice to lie. Didn't your mother ever teach you that?

    2. I have absolutely no reason to lie. I never interacted with her, just observed the behavior. Unless she's been warned, it probably still there. Dec 21 as I recall. She was posting about a date with her husband.

  18. Just sitting in my room deciding if i want to hook up my new game right now or wait a bit. I found a really good deal on that Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Version that came with the starter set, a two pack of the figures you use with it and a binder for the plastic "power discs" that opens up stuff in the game for $50. Normally just the starter set is $75 and the 2 pack is $35, so that and the binder is usually $120 and getting it for $50 brand new is a steal. It's like those Skylander's video games that use the collectable figures/statues.

Also trying to come up with the cheesy jokes my ex-sis-in-law likes. Her Mom passed away earlier in the week and trying to cheer her up. She stepped up big time for my Dad and I when my Mom passed away, so I want to make sure I'm there for her and I figure trying to make her laugh is important right now. She knows I love her like the little sister I never had and told her I would help her any way I could but she never said anything I can do, so bad jokes through texts are what I think are is what I can do.

One other thing I'm doing is debating on pressing the "order now" button on my Amazon cart. I found some stuff I had been wanting cheap as hell (2/3 off) and something that there's no telling when stores here will get since they seem to wait until late Feb. or early March to restock stuff after Christmas. It's only $44 but I'm trying to actually start saving money this year for a change. I could order it and then add the same amount to a "Christmas Club" that I can't touch until at least November. What are you guys thought on it, guys? Seriously, I not only want but need your opinions on it.

    1. Rowdy: It is not uncommon for people to decline the "anything I can do to help" question. Be specific with your offer. If she lives locally, for instance, ask her for a grocery list to shop for her, because her mind won't be in the little things for now. It's a helpful request particularly if she suddenly has to feed people coming to the funeral. If she's not local, offer to call hotels for those traveling for the funeral; there's comfort in people mourning the same loss staying at a hotel together rather than scattered through town, and you may be able to get a good rate for bereavement or small group, especially if the funeral is during the week and not on a weekend. (If it's too late for that, then that advice is for anyone else who has wondered the same thing, wanting to help but feeling helpless.) (When I asked a co-worker to work for me when my grandmother died, she made this offer and got my family four rooms and a great rate, and I didn't have to call around, crying, about why I needed the rooms.)

    2. Rowdy: Order it!!! You only live once!!! Go for it and enjoy yourself!!!

    3. @RowdyR ~ If it's 2/3 off and it's something you for sure want & would really use, I'd click Order Now! I cruised over to Amazon yesterday and they had some pretty great deal plus free shipping. Forget Christmas Club, I say buy it now. But that's me.

    4. I'd rather have buyer's remorse than why in the hell didn't I buy it when I had the chance and it was on sale??!!

  20. @Jason, I would not die of shock if it was one of the Entybots. How long has it been since MichaelK post a CDaN BI guess?

    1. I have the basic of the basic right now, because I can't ever decide. I want something monochrome and sleek, but not to manly, more elegant. Something probably pregeared towards photography. See I don't have a lot of demands!

    2. How about this one? It has optimizable background colors if you don't like the grey and is beautiful for photography!

  21. I've been doing sweet nothing ... aside from a few little domestic chores ... it's windy here today (thank goodness - it's too hot otherwise). It's almost tea time ... I think we'll have fish and chips outside under the trees.
