Ashlee Simpson Changing Name

Both Ashlee Simpson and her new husband Evan Naess are changing their names! TMZ reports that the couple will both be getting the hyphenate Ross-Naess as their last name. Publicly, Evan already goes by the last name Ross, although he legally has only his father's last name. The son and daughter-in-law of Diana Ross should be able to garner some better dinner reservations once the name change takes effect.

      That clip should immediately bar Asslee's ass from being able to take on the Ross surname, oh for shame!

      I haven't watched SNL in decades, but for some reason, I saw that particular show. The ho down and the quick bolt from the stage. End of any reasonably successful music career. So SNL has done some good things.

    I can't stand her. She was horrible on 7th Heaven (TWoP called her Asslee there, too) and that drunken tirade in McDonald's sealed it for me.

    Well she has to get her money somewhere...big sister Jessica is probably tired of paying her phone bills etc. Now she can claw her way into the Ross fortune and if that doesnt work out she can get sympathy money from her big sis. No work involved whatsoever.

    Can't stand Asslee either. And I'm sorry, but Riss just doesn't look right.
    (Does he live in the attic in ANERICAN DAD?)
    Funny when the child comes out looking like the real Aslee - but I'm sure the baby will have a devIated septum before public appearances.
    How long before Ross is "working in Paris"?

    It's not like Ross is some unusual last name like Dreyfus or Speiberg, Kardshian or even Jenner. Why the hell do they think having that last name is gonna get them any favors? It's gonna be all - Don't you know who my mother is? Embarrassing if you ask me. At least some people have heard of Ashley Simpson, Ashley Ross-Naess?? Forget it she'll be spending all her time trying to spell it for confused people.

    I can't remember the last time I saw her pictured with the kid she had with Pete Wetz ... I've seen Megan Camper photographed with wee Bronx more than I have with Asslee (not a typo).
