Christina Aguilera Gets In Fight With Mickey Mouse

Disneyland is apparently not the happiest place on Earth for Christina Aguilera. TMZ reports that when she went to the theme park for her birthday and wanted to take a picture with some of the characters, she became agitated when she found out that Mickey Mouse is allowed to take breaks. The nerve! She shouted at the overgrown rodent, "Don't you know who I am?!" Since Mickey did know who she was, he proceeded to take his scheduled break instead of sticking around to take pictures with the blonde bimbette and her crew. Security was called, but by the time they arrived, they couldn't find Aguilera. Or maybe they just didn't know who she was.

  1. Sounds familiar. We had a similar experience with her about 4 years ago. She yelled at my husband. He wasn't dressed as a Disney character though just a fellow bar patron. I sent him this story yesterday and his response made me giggle, "yep, the woman is a menace!"

    2. She was drunk. We were at an after party in California (not LA) she picked my husband's arm up any tossed it out of her way, he was leaning up against a bar stool and her majesty wanted to pass. She said "excuse you" as she flung his arm and he looked right back at her and said "no, excuse you." She tried to get him kicked out instead the owners organized transportation for her and got her out of there. She was drunk as hell and doing her best hatchet face impression. After she left everyone called her a cunt. I hate that word but she really was one. There's more to the story but it's all pretty sad and pathetic. I think she pays everyone in that group photo from Disney.

  2. She's every bit as charming as I imagined her to be.

  3. My sister worked at Disney World in Florida and played Snow White for a few years. The Character Actors do really have it tough. Even if it's time for their scheduled break, if a guest would like a picture, they shouldn't break character and always smile, smile, smile! In Mickey's case he has a big old head piece on him so he can make whatever the fuck face he wants lol. But the characters have handlers with them and while it is important to greet and meet all the "fans" it's also important that they take their breaks as their costumes can be quite heavy and heat stroke and dehydration can occur. Christina made a bigger scene then my 3 year old niece would have.

    1. @Gina, I dont think you could pay me enough to work at Disney. When I worked in a mall years ago, the Disney employees weren't allowed to walk into the Disney store with food/drink. It needed to be bagged-no kidding. Way too many rules for me.

  5. I know someone who used to work for Disney and apparently those costumes never get washed. Those poor actors. :(

    2. There was a lawsuit awhile ago where the character workers sued Disney for the right to WEAR THEIR OWN UNDERWEAR. Regular laundering of the costumes was also an issue.

  6. Wasn't there a Disney workers AMA on reddit that was pretty epic?

  7. Who fights with Mickey?

How much of a bitch can she be?

Like Debra Messing, I still want Christina to be nice.

    Juicy story Katydid.

  10. LOL @auntliddy and nice tea, @katydid!

This is my absolute favourite Disney video: Gaston gets schooled by a little girl. Now that is a Disney character actor!

    1. Thx @Seven, that was cute. Surprisingly when my daughter was young, she loved Beauty and the Beast, but Gaston was the one character she didn't want to meet at Disneyland. We were at the character breakfast once, and as he approached our table, she kept repeating "NO make him go away". He approached anyways and she was not amused.

  11. I love watching The Voice for mindless entertainment, but she makes the show so negative. I think they *make* her take breaks every few seasons.

  12. We know who you are Chrissy, you're a poor kid from podunk Pittsburgh. And still have the limited amount of class to match.

  13. At one of the Disneyland/World parks, there was (might still be there) an epic Peter Pan I read about him on somebodies Tumblr site. It's like the guy lived the character for real. He sounded amazing but I can't imagine the amount of energy it would take to do that day in and day out and not be on drugs.

  14. It's weird she even wanted a photo, or to hang out there for her birthday, in the first place ... I mean, would you want to go back to your first workplace ever and have photos taken and celebrate your birthday (she was in the Mickey Mouse Club)? I would've thought that chapter had closed off a long time ago. It's just weird.

    1. @ Stepforded- my cousin was on the Mickey Mouse Club with her in the 90's and he is weirdly still obsessed with Disney World. He goes all the time and even got married there a couple of years ago. He isn't famous anymore, so maybe he is just trying to recapture his fame. I dunno. But either way, the 90's MMC kids still get together on a fairly regular basis and visit their old home. He always plasters the pictures all over Facebook.
