Jennifer Aniston's Star Studded New Year
Jennifer Aniston has headed to Cabo San Lucas with Justin Theroux for her annual New Year's trip. Us Weekly reports that this year, Aniston will be joined by pals Jimmy Kimmel and wife Molly McNearney, Howard Stern and wife Beth Stern, John Krasinski and wife Emily Blunt, and George Clooney and wife Amal Alamuddin. The group already dined together on Sunday at Clooney's home. I'm sure that Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber were also in attendance.

Had no idea clooney was in that clique. Interesting. And gerber and crawford? As interesting as watching paint dry, so good luck with them.

ReplyDeleteOh that is very interesting with Clooney joining the group. I had always heard that Brad and George were never really as tight as everyone thought they might be. Also not saying that George wouldn't hang out with Jen just because of Brad. I mean, hell they are all adults. It just popped in my head and that's why I mentioned it.
ReplyDeleteWell, if Clooney is there, I suspect it's more because Gerber/Crawford are there. Apparently they vacation together often and built houses in Mexico several years ago so they could toddle down there whenever they wanted to.

I am conflicted on this. I was Team Aniston when she and Brad split. But I have to say that she increasingly gets on my nerves.
ReplyDeleteShe's earned her money and she can certainly spend it however she wants to, but this yearly jaunt to Mexico with her uber-celebrity friends, irks me. She's puts her image out there as the normal, easy-going, clean living, every woman. Pffft.
Aniston's getting a little long in the tooth to keep up the sweetheart image much longer. I predict she'll end up a lonely woman sitting in her closet eating Ding Dongs and washing them down the champagne, bemoaning the fact that she's alone and nobody loves her and why aren't casting directors call her for the latest ingenue role?

DeleteI listen to Stern and last year they had about the same crew there. I thought it was interesting because he said he met Amal there last NYE. I think they dated for a while under the radar before publicly coming out.
ReplyDeleteClooney and Brad are colleagues I think, nothing more. I wonder why the Damon's aren't there? They're close with Clooney, John, Emily and Kimmel.
It may have something to do with Clooney being known for not liking kids?

ReplyDeleteI'm actually warming up to Aniston. I used to not like her because she's so very generic (and I got really, really sick of "Jen's pregnant" all the time) but while I don't find him particularly hot (not a fan of men who wear skinny jeans), Justin Theroux is a very intelligent man and they're good together.
But do you think they'll ever actually get married? That whole bi-coastal relationship with neither one willing to permanently relocate seems like a nail in the coffin to me.
Delete@Karen W - honestly, I don't think they will. I think they like being together and they like being separate, if that makes sense. At their ages, it's not like settling down and having a whack of children is in the cards (I honestly don't believe Jen will ever get pregnant, either, and good for her if that's what she wants).

ReplyDeletefrenemies perfectly describes them. george found out on a red carpet brad had scooped him by getting married first. they are constantly one upping each other in the press you just have to look for it..
when george got married the brange immediately released behind the scenes footage of vivianne running towards papa and angie filming maleficent. odd timing non??

that's why george skipped this year's oscars.. he knew brad was going to win for 12 yas and didn't want to have to watch him win.. if it's not george's night he's not going

and jen is just rallying the troops to try to secure an oscar nom.. voting opened monday so this is still campaigning on the highest level
oh and doesn't it bother anyone else that rande and cindy don't spend christmas with their kids at all?? haven't for years.. george doesn't allow kids in cabo so r/c choose g over their own kids on christmas..damn

I think having over a hundred million and doing what ever I want including hanging out with some interesting people. The sun, stories, the margaritas, the good pot and the excellent brownies now that's a new year's vacation

Deleteher choice to just want to drink margaritas eat chips and guacamole and party in cabo.. a guy would be called a balling bachelor but she gets mommy shamed for not having/wanting kids as if she's in human for just not wanting to screw up someone else's life or has just come to terms w/ not being able to conceive her own..
never team anniston or team jolie but cut the shit they have all 3 played the media to their advantage to stay relevant over the last 10 years..
