I've been there too. The first birthday where my ex didn't call me was a hard day to get through. She gave me the whole "Well I'll be thinking about you" thing. Bleh. It was the one thing I never forgave her for. Can't believe I spent the last two weeks pining over her. I need to meet someone new - and fast.
And UPDATE: It's 645 pm where I live, I saw his name come up on my phone but I didn't answer. He left me a voice mail that goes word for word: Hey yeah Um I can't remember if your birthday is today or tomorrow so...happy birthday! If you're out with the girls later and want to hook up after drop me a line"....um we dated 2 years and you don't know my birthday?! I'll drop you a line: Fuck you! Ugh....So not letting him ruin my night, off to part-tay with my girls :) *Waves Hiiiiiii @Tricia!!
@Gina, forget about him. Also, dudes forget stuff like that all the time. My SO forgot my birthday last year AND this year, and we were even out of town on a special birthday trip both times! The first time I didn't say anything and it wasn't until someone else wished me happy birthday that he was like "oh crap, I forgot to say happy birthday!" Second year, whatever, I told him he forgot again and I'm going to the pub where everybody knows my name and my bday because they card me every damn time. :b
omg right? She strikes me as the type that "if looks could kill"...laser beams would shoot right out of her eyes and hit you point blank in the back of the head as you are preemptively running away cuz you looked at her the wrong way... still have a girl crush on her though.
Sorry for adding my own thread here but I was over at Blind Gossip before I came here... there is a whole section of blind items on cartoonists?? WTF? Haven't cartoonists taken a big enough hit this week?
I absolutely hate it when people post pictures of being in warm, balmy weather while I'm sitting here literally in layers of clothes and still freezing!!
