When Senior Citizen Love Triangles Go Wrong

David Cassidy, who turns 65 in a few months, was involved in a love triangle gone wrong in, you guessed it, Boca Raton, Florida. TMZ reports that the technologically unsavvy Cassidy had his iPhone on him when he went to the house of the "other woman." Cassidy's girlfriend tracked his cheating ass down using "Find My iPhone," and since it's Florida, drove to the other woman's house and kicked the other woman's ass. Despite the cheating, Cassidy and his girlfriend are still together because he thinks he loves her, she woke up in love this morning, and let's face it, breaking up is hard to do.

  1. I remember when David Cassidy was on Celeb Apprentice---such a whiny little bitch. and he likes to have drinks before he drives as well!

  2. Strange this post says 10:00am, but just showed up.

Love the song references. One on the 1st albums I ever got was thru my mom's record club account and was the Partridge Family.

    1. Hell yeah we did Meanie. My husband's high school picture sort of looks like him. Puka shells and all.

    2. LOL! Now I'm remembering certain guys who wore the puka shells. I always thought it was so strange for guys in the Midwest to be wearing them.

I bet OPster was a gorgeous 'un when he was younger. Not that he still isn't. You get what I mean. :)

  6. Love the song references. I heard an interview with Shirley Jones and she talked about when he was cast for the Partridge show among other things. It was a wonderful interview. I should read her book.

  10. Oh Keith Partridge...... How far you have fallen. He was my first crush when I was in first grade. I used to stare at my Partridge Family lunch box while eating my pb&j sandwich at the cafeteria table. I refuse to let his present day douchiness interfere with those memories.

  12. It would suck becoming mega famous when you are very young, very beautiful and talented then after only a few years of being one of the biggest things around, your career is completely and utterly over. For the rest of your life.

  14. Oh I agree skippy- it doesn't excuse shitty behavior. Thing is David Cassidy got that double whammy of fame that few in his era got. He was a teen TV hearthrob but he also actually toured with a band and experienced Beatlesque levels of fan mania (Stamos has had a taste of that too, but has avoided the douche factor).

I do feel sorry for him because he was treated 100% like a pawn for his music career. He was into Hendrix and Clapton and wanted to play that type of music. Because of his fame from The Partridge Family there was no way the "powers that be" we're EVER going to let that happen.

When you think about it, David Cassidy was in the same type situation that Miley Cyrus was in up until a few years ago. Imagine the controllers and shit that Miley went up against to break out of her Hannah Montana image. Look at Hilary Duff, Hanson or the Jonas Brothers. Their careers went nowhere after their teenybopper stage. That shit happened to Cassidy decades ago and he still obviously can't handle it. Makes me respect Miley more even if I don't dig her music or image. She's in it for life and doesn't want to fade away like so many others have before her.

I wish Cassidy would get his shit together and record a good album. Some of us old school fans would still check it out if it was any good. Whatever happened to his half brother Sean anyway?
