So, so cold. I was almost in the building this morning when I realized I'd left my ID badge in my car. It was closer to walk to the less secure entrance than to return to my car and risk having my eyes freeze in the open position, so I'm badgeless, probably accruing demerits.
taking care of the 5lb baby furball who had an infected uterus and had the whole taco shop of surgeries done yesterday. uterus removed, anal glands extracted ..etc.. antibiotics and pain pills and the neck cone that reminds me of that john cusak 80s movie bu i had to remove the neck cone after a few hours though b/c her crying and whining and shaking in pain so i covered up her suchers in i large gauze pad and used soft gauze tape to tape it down good and then took the cone off.. she ate for the first time today and was practically attacking my fingers for the few bites of chx she got..only a few now more later.. that's it for me..doggie pain sitting duty
Awww is it a rescue baby? Man it sounds like she's been through the wringer, poor baby. Give her some sugar and go watch some tv that'll put her to sleep.
+1 re: the inflatable e-collar. I had my dog spayed and microchipped this past August and it was a godsend. The collar acted like a pillow that she could rest her head/neck on.
Hope you and fur baby are doing well! We went through that with our girl this summer after the vet misdiagnosed her. Even refused to giver her an ultrasound we requested. I could still cut that bitch. Anyway, hope all is well, and I know it isn't cheap. We went though all our down payment money on our rescues last summer. Good on you for taking on a rescue!
thanks for the love guys.. she's doing much better she keeps playing the injured victim card.. like you put me through this.. i want more chx, i want more treats.. rub my belly more.. i have noticed when she sleeps with me she has been kicking a lot more in the rib cage *accidentally* b/c she is always in my armpit.. haven't had a good nights sleep in 3 days but she has she's not a rescue but got her 10 years ago from a respectable breeder

I caught the cold that's been going around between my coworkers and family. I made it to work this morning, but I think I'll go home for lunch and just stay there for the rest of the day. It's beautiful and sunny in the 70's here and yet I'm freezing cold. I want a hot bubble bath and some warm jammies.
Ten days? Oh no friggn' way!!! I was hoping an afternoon on the couch would do it. My coworker got it a week ago today and she called in sick today. Aaagghhhj.
I am exhausted after using my lunch break today to give my dog a bath and then having to take one myself. That little fucker found some feral animal's poop to roll around in and I was the lucky one who got to clean all up that. I also cleaned up some of her vomit this AM as well. I love her dearly, but damn, she's been a PITA today.
I am working today. Actually started almost an hour early. Now I'm getting my nails done during my lunch hour. Plan on visiting my MIL in the home tonight. Still no idea on dinner. Doesn't bode well on that front because every time I go looking for lunch and open the fridge the good fairy keeps bypassing me. Same shit as the previous time I looked.
Got an email from the lawyer of either Jessica Alba or Jessica Alba's old boyfriend concerning an article I wrote and published online FOUR YEARS AGO. TMZ apparently got the same notice I did. This is so dumb. Never had anyone demanding I remove an article until today. I'm going to check into this some more before I choose to remove the post - If I decide to. Maybe it's Enty screwing with me some.
Apparently the guy she was seeing right before she hit big. The guy who started a relationship web site a few years ago. I'd forgot all about him. Apparently Jessica did too.
My MIL just won a $5,000. Sweepstakes prize that Mr. Min Pin entered her name in. It's so cool because she's on a fixed income. I hope she goes a little nuts with some of that $$
A lot of nothing. I never thought I'd say I miss working, but I miss working.
