    1. Clip off the hangnail with sharp, clean cuticle scissors.

Massage hand lotion or cream into your cuticles 2 to 3 times each day.

    1. I just got over a flu like that @redronnie. It lasted 3 or 4 days and it was AWFUL. If I was laying down it wasn't so bad, but as soon as I stood up....no bueno. Finally starting to feel back to normal today. Hope you feel better soon.

  7. I'm nursing 2 sick kids, who can't handle being next to each other while sick. Then feeling guilty cuddling one and not the other. Oh the joys of motherhood.

  8. Even though I wanted to stay in bed, I came to work today. I had Emergen C and some orange juice and I feel a little better. It could be worse.

  9. Doing a talk at a hospital tomorrow. I do them a few times a year but still get a bit nervous before hand. Trying to switch up my material a bit, keep it interesting.

    1. @Gina Sz: Yes! CELEBRATION!!!!

Good luck with the presentation tomorrow, I am sure you will kill it. Keep on practicing! That's the only way to fight the anxiety, and public speaking is one of the most common fears.

THIS is actually what I still struggle with the most when I lecture, but I'm getting better...LOL

  11. I broke a vacuum at work this afternoon. Hopefully duct tape can hold it together until I can get a new one. Other than that....I am so glad it is Thursday.
