  1. A wry smile from me at the outdoor swimming pool for a house in England

    1. Well then it better be heated. I saw an article on rich people who keep their outdoor pools open all year round in CANADA. The one man had a gorgeous pool, complete with the waterfall and rocks and hot tub, with the snow covered Rocky Mountains in the background - he kept that pool ppen and heated all year long - his grand kids who all came for Xmas liked to go swimming on the Xmas holidays. And I think he was using a natural gas heater. Now living in Alberta it might be cheaper than some places but still. You can get solar heaters now for pools not sure how well they work.

  2. I don't think I know any 21 year olds with wine cellars.

  3. Nice, but kind of cold. I hate seeing smooth tile in a bathroom. All I can think is somebody is going to crack their head open.

I liked the laundry area, it was my favorite room in the house.

  5. Very classy---but not fair, I can barely make rent! Anyone see the house on the site in the top middle? A 2 floor cabin on top of a mountain? I would shit myself living there---too dangerous!

    2. That cabin looks like someplace Ra's al Ghul would have as a secret hideaway when he's not tormenting Batman or The Arrow. Looks like you'd have to climb a sheer rock face to get to it. No thanks.

  7. I like all the rooms but the bedrooms. None of them did it for me. Agree the laundry room is awesome!

  9. Count me as another who likes the appliances in the laundry room. Is it wrong to get a nipple hard on for front loading washers?

Otherwise the outside is incongruent with the inside. Too modern inside for my tastes. Did they show the kitchen? Have to go back but that's the most important (ok 2nd) in the house to me.

    1. Ha!@Sherry! I'm also aroused by appliances, & i still make furtive, loving looks at my front loader (it's the best in environmental, lowest usage of power/water terms)

  11. Huh? The inside of that estate looks nothing like the exterior. I was expecting something more old school elegant. I don't really care for that modern style interior at all, but yes, that is one hell of a mud room. He better hope he saves some $$ for a rainy day.
