Olivier Martinez On The Attack At LAX
After being swarmed by paparazzi upon landing at LAX with Halle Berry, and children Nahla, 6, and Maceo, 1, Olivia Martinez went on the attack. Photographers got too close, and Martinez used an empty car seat to shove an LAX employee. TMZ reports that the employee had pulled out his cellphone camera to score a picture, which is what caused Martinez to shove him back.

I saw the video and he wasn't the only airport employee doing it. He just sparked Oliver's ire for some reason. Baaaaad move on his part. Especially when she's trying to reduce payments to Gabriel. Imagine how his lawyers will spin that.
ReplyDeletePart of me says it goes with the territory, but i hv seen overview of how mobbed they are, flashbulbs in childrens eyes, kids hiding their faces. Thats not right, and he is a hothead, so perfect storm for trouble. I remember liz taylor wld say let me get kids settled and then we will pose for pics, so they left kids alone. On the other hand, halle and oliver were not working, just walking thru airport so cant they back off? Not to mention their yelling out stuff to provoke reaction. Really u cldnt pay me enough. So im going with if the stars on not working, back off, or u might take a carseat to the head!
ReplyDeleteThe brange security always negotiates ahead of time before they come out or the paps always know give them their space and be nice and you'll get your shot.. the brange have a very friendly and strategic relationship with the pap agencies in hw which is smart on their part because they paps always get their money shot and the brange never get accosted or cursed at..

Someone mentioned Brad and Angelina yesterday along with the Beckhams. They're photo'd constantly with their kids and nobody gets hurt.

ReplyDeleteI agree Lotta and Licky. But here's the biggest question. How did the paparazzi know they were arriving? You can bet your ass someone's publicist called. Why he got offended at an airport employee vs a pro photographer is up for conjecture.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if in general paparazzi hang out at LAX in hopes of catching someone. I've flown thru LAX many times and haven't scene them, but maybe there is a celebrity exit?

ReplyDeleteOooo - that's a great theory Sugar bread!! Everyone knows what a short fuse Oliver has. If that was my husband, I'd never go out in public with him for fear of the potential embarrassment!! I think Halle enjoys it though!!! (Just my opinion!)

Men are so dumb and easily manipulated it's his own fault he saw it first hand and thought it was Soooo funny when they were Setting up Gabriel. .humphhh. who's laughing now Frenchman? ?

DeleteAfter seeing that video of paps swarming KimK and her baby, I don't blame celebs for freaking out. But like sugar bread pointed out, there are ways around that if you're careful and willing to negotiate. Angie never refuses to smile for the paps and the woman managed to have a double mastectomy without anyone knowing about it for months. Douchebags like Olivier and Alec Baldwin getting all bent out of shape about the paps just fuels the paps, they WANT the celebs to flip out, that's news and those photos sell.
ReplyDeleteThe paparrazzi know which celebs have short fuses and say and do stuff to set them off so they can get the money shot, or if they are lucky close enough so they are in the line of fire so they can sue. They know what they are doing, And in this case they won big time.
