Programming Note:
The Bachelor returns tonight on ABC. Reality Steve doesn't have his week by week recap done quite yet, so keep checking back, but you can find out who the final four are on this page at Reality Steve, as well as the winner (if there is one).

Wondering when your favorite show is returning? The Futon Critic has a comprehensive alphabetical listing of all current shows and their return dates.

    1. I watched it back when it aired on the BBC. I'll have to watch again. This season is much better than last season, btw.

    2. Seachica I learned it was on from someone mentioning they were going to record it and rushed home from trivia night to catch it.

Honestly it's almost too long a break so we had trouble following the story. Honestly they could rerun those during summer pledge drives just so we know what's happening rather than Suze Orman and other "classic" Masterpiece Theatre.

    3. Hey, Sherry! Totally agree. I like Suze Orman but she's more readable than watchable for sure.

Oh and lurve ya right back, Berry!

    4. 7-11-oy, suze orman- its enough already! And please, for the people who have yo look at you, change that hairdo!!!!!!

  3. Game of Thrones!!!!! WINTER IS COMING!

OITNB, I need to rewatch the last season, and Downton Abbey, too. I think I'm going to start watching Mr Selfridge - as much as I dislike the Piv as a person, I really like him as an actor. He made douchebag Ari Gold likable.

Buzzfeed had an article this morning about "127 New Movies And TV Shows To Be Really Excited About In 2015". I haven't gotten all the way through it but Terrence Howard has a new one coming out that's like a modern day King Lear based on a record company head, his sons, and his ex-con wife, and there's one with Rainn Wilson (Dwight from The Office), Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon (he played the shorts-wearing cop on Reno 911) reprising The Odd Couple, Better Call Saul (of course), Ryan Phillippe (zzzz) has a new show on ABC.

    1. I'm with you 1,000%.

Look fire and ice means it's Dragon lady vs. Jon Snow in a snooze worthy show down. Frankly, I want Arya Stark to get stabby on the lot of them. #TeamMaisie

  4. Hey Seven...I normally lurk, but speaking of Ryan Phillippe's new show - it is based on an Australian long-format mini-series, Secrets & Lies. I highly recommmed watching this original (can be found on Netflix). Martin Henderson, normally wooden, I feel, is great, as is the entire cast.
Fun fact, the actress who portrays the wife was also in another excellent Aussie mini-series, The Slap - also being remade for American television.

    1. The Slap can also be found on Netflix!

    2. I am afraid the American versions pale if you watched the UK or Aussie versions of shows. The Slap was brilliant. And it looks like there is going to be a second season of Broadchurch, with David Tennant, it is airing on one of the cable channels here, and David Tennant actually starred in the American version, Gracepoint and the first season just ended.

    3. Tina, I'm so excited about the 2nd season of Broadchurch and the plot, as they won't be dealing with another murder.

  5. Where's Derek? Damn, Celebrity Apprentice did not disappoint last night. It's going to be a shitfest of epic proportions.

I've got Downton on the DVR for a night when I need a little class. Usually I go for trash.

Empire has been heavily promo'd. It looks good.

Galavant looks like fun. I like the idea of a "limited series" like a telenovella. Networks are too quick to cancel shows these days. If there are only six episodes, what's to cancel?

    1. Felt bad for Keisha, but she played her strategy wrong, if you don't have deep pockets to call in don't volunteer for project manager on fundraising challenges, stay under the radar. But you could tell she was very uncomfortable about the whole subject of Mr. Cosby.

    2. Hey! Yeah Kenya Moore is going to be a handful this season! and Keisha looked so awkward about Bill Cosby---something is going on there. and Kevin Jonas is such a know-it-all....

    3. Kevin Jonas surprised me right off the bat. He's such a whiney ass. I knew Geraldo was full of himself, but damn he's delusional as hell. What an ego. I almost felt sorry for Lorenzo, he looked embarrassed about not bringing in the money. Viveca, Brandi, and Kenya should be very interesting. Keisha shouldn't have let Kenya push her about BC. She obviously had her reason for not calling him and she should have defended herself.

    4. Super late to the convo but watched Kenya on WWHL last night & she made a point to let everyone know how long ago this was taped & that allegations had not resurfaced at the time she was being pushy about Cosby.

    5. Miss Jonas is quite the shady bitch. Who knew?

Geraldo is more obnoxious than usual. I mean if Lorenzo Lamas--who's worked with several difficult people on Falcon Crest--says GR is the worst...

  6. I need some House of Cards in my life soon!
    And Walking Dead.

    1. Try the original British series. It's so much fun. And free of Kevin 'not gay' Spacey.... a plus IMHO.

    2. British version is superior, totally agree QueenAnne.

  8. I eagerly await the Americans, very interesting show! And of course, game of thrones, which i love, because there is so much going on you know at tge outset u wont be getting it all, lol.

  9. Love The Americans as well! Person of Interest is also a favorite for the opposite time of the year when the Americans is on break. I love Downton Abbey, I watched the final few episodes from last season this past week to refresh my memory of what's going on. The down time for all of them seems way too long.
