Jennifer Hudson Headed to Broadway
Jennifer Hudson will finally make her Broadway debut in the musical The Color Purple. Page Six does not know yet which role Hudson will be playing, but the production will hit Broadway in the Fall of 2015. The production, directed by John Doyle, has been playing in London since 2013.
I love her. Take not Fantasia this is how a professional behaves on Broadway...

DeleteEwwww Mr Boston still creeps me out. Such an epic show!
Le sigh.
LOL I remember she was kinda into the midget but her mom yelled at her so she got rid of him~! and she fell in love with another guy cause he introduced her to Ranch dressing---like whos never had ranch dressing before smh lol
ReplyDeleteGood for her. Maybe someo will teach her about how to sing to create a mood. She's like a horse trying to get a head start on everyone and not saving anything for the home stretch.
ReplyDeleteI mean she can sing but I've never once heard her do a soft gentle ballad soft and gentle. Hopefully this will teach her. Frankly I thought she'd alrwady done Broadway.
Good noon, Sherry...
DeleteYeah, she caterwauls. *shudder*
Oh yeah morning Derek and LadyH. Two of my faves!
ReplyDeletehi Sherry!
DeleteGood Morning, Shervoyant!
DeleteI so love your clicky's! I tried to do one yesterday but it didn't work. It was hilarious. Or maybe I was in a punchy mood.
DeleteHey back atcha babe. #1 where are all the posts and b) where is everyone?
ReplyDeletenot sure, it is like minus 20 out here so I aint going no where today! Hopefully some sort of pace will pick up....
DeleteI know posts are less frequent on weekends but it's been 50 minutes. What's halpening?
DeleteAl lace, yes, i too have wondered if there is any scheldule.
DeleteI think Outtie is in LA and sleeps in in Saturday like myself. I too just got out of bed. Stayed up late watching tv (sleeping on the sofa).
ReplyDeleteMorning ladies, Derek....
ReplyDeleteI'm not a musical type much (but I have a weakness for opera). I tried to sit through this show but couldn't. This novel is so good. The movie fell so short. And the musical sanded off every last rough edge and snuffed out the last sparks of. Life.
I can't imagine anyone making a anything of that mess.
Btw, I saw a picture of Gina Gershon at the opening night of the metropolitan opera... yum! Gina, if you need a date....
Gweeds I am there with you. Gina is one yummy girl. She's our screen saver and she's wearing a white bikini with just enough of a bite you want to move it aside.
Delete@Sherry- I am embarrassed to admit that I actually purchased a Maxim just for that layout and that I have it stored somewhere!
DeleteDamn, Sherry. Just damn...I wanna play on your computer. :)
ReplyDeleteMornin', Guido...see what ya've gone and done? :)
I was trying to find the picture on the interwebs but I can't..I'll email it to you.
DeleteJen has to be playing the woman who's father is the preacher and she walks over to the church and sings that song that will bring the house down. Cant think of her name. That book, man, it had too much in it, incest, lesbianism, feminism, forgiveness, the whole africa story and the reuniting story. It was a bit much i thought; everytime you got interested in one thing author threw another thing at you. They shld really streamline that and tighten up that story. And yes, of course, no one asked me, lol!
ReplyDeleteI hate this lying heifer. Keep lying bout how you lost all that weight Jennifer! Meanwhile my friend is like "oh stop after what happened to her family" I'm like that doesn't give you the right to lie to folks faces that you did weight watchers when really you got surgery.
ReplyDeleteAnd Broadway's not what it used to be now that they let Nene stomp on it lol
Oh and I just went to the other site not to be named on my phone and it's even more impossible than usual - the page was loading all out of wack and I couldn't even click on the regular site it wouldn't let me off the mobile. Cray.
ReplyDeleteSug was awesome.
ReplyDeleteI have no particular feeling about Jennifer Hudson except those commercials where she was belting out I'VE GOT THE POWER! over and over made me think that being deaf would be an asset in some situations.
I read that and I'm thinking what the hell is a white girl like JLaw doing in a production of The Color Purple??? JLaw, JHud...I guess I need pictures sometimes.
