Ludacris Is Married

Ludacris just proposed to girlfriend Eudoxie, but TMZ reports that the couple has tied the knot already! The rapper surprised his bride with a spur-of-the-moment ceremony the day of the proposal. You saw the picture of the proposal. After Eudoxie accepted the proposal, the couple went to dinner, and Eudoxie came home to find that Ludacris had a wedding dress waiting for her. The bride was game, so the couple got married on the spot!

    1. His mother picked it out, according to TMZ - I think that's even worse.

  3. He had a wedding dress waiting for her? No pressure then

  4. Maybe a couple named Ludacris and Eudoxie will have a son named Bob or a daughter named Mary.

  5. So he cheats on her (WE WERE ON A BREAK!) and has a baby by another woman, then surprises her with a giant rock and a nifty proposal, then surprises her with a wedding gown and a marriage license. What woman wants to be told what to wear on her wedding day? And her mother in law picked it out? That scent you smell is not lavender and roses, it's the scent of desperation and control. Girlfriend is going on mom's VIP contact list. "He likes my mac and cheese, here's the recipe, thought you'd want it. Love you and toodles! Mom"

Mazel to the couple and all the best wishes to the bride.

  6. I think she's really pretty and intelligent but her name is so out there. I think of a dachshund every time I see it. People call them doxies, right?

  7. Hey now people. Maybe she loves his mom and they get along really well. I love my MIL and my long term BF's mom was (and now is) an angel. Miss Paula was truly lovely. Not sure I'd be thrilled if they picked out my dress UNLESS they had already gone shopping maybe and MIL bought it for her as a gesture of generosity and kindness?

I like Ludacris. He's a very good actor IMHO. Congrats to the couple.

  8. Congrats...?!

Yeah, I wouldn't be too keen on my S/O's Mom presenting me with a dress to wear to MY wedding.

  9. LOL @ Lady H! EudaChris FTW! ;)
I thought it was kind of a grand romantic gesture... just me? (Of course, I'm not someone who planned my wedding as a girl... I would have LOVED to skip the nightmare of wedding planning!)

    1. Right Mama Ray? I'd be thrilled if someone picked out a beautiful flattering gown that fit me and saved me the stress of wedding dress shopping so I thought it was romantic!

  10. A year ago he had a baby with another woman! There is just no way I could tolerate living with that. AND he picked out her wedding dress. WTF?! I follow Luda on Facebook and this whole situation baffles my brain.

  11. Remember there was that YouTube video of a couple doing the same thing not too long ago? I thought it was weird then, and weird now. But they do look like they love each other, so mazel.

  12. I thought it was a great idea when I first read about the wedding, but after reading the comments here I'm not so sure.

  13. I don't think the gesture is romantic at all. Controlling as hell is more like it.

  14. i remember the guy who secretly planned his wedding based on everything his wife had pinned on pinterest and planned it behind her back w/ their friends and family.. that's totes okay b/c he got everything SHE SECRETLY DREAMED of.. he didn't do it to go the cheap way.. he took his time going through what she really wanted for a wedding and had it all done behind her back...

  15. sugar bread - My husband has totally stalked my Pinterest for my last birthday and for this Christmas and he has hit it out of the park with my gifts. My sisters and the entire staff at my J. Crew were HELLA impressed with his investigative skills. LOL.

  16. I would have no problem letting the man look after all the wedding crap. Well only if you thought he had a clue and was good at organizing things and many men are much better at that and I'm all for the make it simple and quick. I think your marriage might last longer these days if you keep it simple. The expensive weddings start many couples out in debt since less parents can help out and so you are starting on that slippery slope since money is always the biggest subject of argument and biggest reason for murdering a spouse - sorry watching too much Forensic Files but people don't kill your spouse right after taking out a new insurance policy on their life hello.

Yes Susan it is nice to have a man that puts in the same kind of effort us women do. It shows he cares and he is actually paying attention. Not pretending to.

  17. How do you pronounce her name? I also thought it was nice but I can see where it could be controlling and I didn't know about the cheating and baby so now I just don't know.

  18. It sounds like he was afraid to give her time to think about it and change her mind. If a guy did that to me, I don't think I'd go for that at all. Especially not having someone else pick out my dress. Maybe she had been looking at dresses and he knew what she liked. I think that would be okay. Then again I'm not a fan of the big wedding ritual. For Mr. Min Pin and me we eloped to Roswell NM, sat through criminal court in the courthouse while the judge went through all the cases and then he married us in front of the riffraff that were still hanging around. It was def low key no frills. Afterwards we went to the UFO museum.

  19. I'm the odd one out, but they've been together a while and chances are he knows her better than we do. They could have looked at dresses and rings casually before he proposed. It's not like most engagements come completely out of the blue. Maybe she expected a christmas proposal after they picked out the ring and he just wanted her to be surprised with a wedding. I eloped so I err on the side of romance with this one.
