Slow News Sunday

The American Music Awards are airing this evening. There will be posts for everyone who wants to watch it with Anarchy this evening; one for the East Coast/Central time, and one for Pacific. What's going on in your world today?

    1. I did too. Someone mentioned yesterday the possibility of Cosby's drug supplier coming forward to lend credibility to the drugging then raping claims. When I read this I thought there would be others too. Well it is happening. Did you read the article in the DM about the "handler" at NBC that would pay Cosby's girls and stand guard while he met with them?

    2. Oh god I hope so.. I'm sure the prosecutor would give him immunity for his testimony if there was any trial even though I think the statute of limitations has run out for most..
is there ever a sol for a civil trial??
Any Elle woods in the house???

  5. Yeah, what's up? I actually went to the old CDAN yesterday to check on posts b/c I didn't understand why Anarchy stopped at 4 Blinds... (new site = never again. UGH. Annoying mess.). But there were like 10 more blinds over there than here... Confused and bummed out if this was only a momentary whim for Outtie. I can understand not having the time to post all day, just... bummed.

    1. I think the threat from Enty to Outie was because of the complete mirroring of the CDAN site. The change to Anarchy was then going to use some CDAN items, as well as original material.

When nothing posted here this morning, I went and looked at CDAN too. I scrolled to find a post with more than a few comments and opened it. I was surprised to see Lady H had posted. There has been complaints about people posting under stolen names. I'm curious whether it was really her or not. Has anyone seen her post here recently?

    2. @Lace - I haven't seen Lady H post here in the last couple days. The comment you saw on CDaN was probably someone stealing her name. I still can't believe the enterns would use such a shitty commenting system.

    3. Lady said here that she posts over there. It's her. I've always suspected she's part of their team because she's such a cheerleader/conversation leader/fight breaker-upper. And a couple times people picked fights with her she never got hurt and quickly made sure they were besties again with zero side eye ever given. She wasn't even a lurker or a rare poster at first, she burst on and became everyone's favorite right away with her stories. And now where is she....

  7. I am enjoying a lazy Sunday morning. The wind and rain woke me up early---way too early for a day off.

  8. Did you see the cryptic post by Lisa Bonet? I knew it!! I hope she spills the beans for the final nail in Cosby's coffin.

I've wondered about Lady H too. What happened?

Well, it's a beautiful day here in SoCal. I'll be watching football, washing clothes and the puppy. He's stinky. Speaking of dogs, read the story on the DM about the stray dog that followed the extreme sports team. It was my feel good story of the day.

Oh great, my puppy is eating the gas bill...

    1. I read the dog story too. It was so heart warming. I Love that they took him back to Sweden. Animals seems to know who will be good to them.

  9. It snowed! Like 4 inches. My kids couldn't be more excited. Sadly they grow so far I had to run to the store and buy new jackets, gloves and snow pants. They are happy as little clams out there, and I am warm and toasty taking it easy.

  10. Today's my crazy day getting ready for thanksgiving. Little cleaning, cleaning out fridge/freezer because my biggest turkey ever arrives Tuesday and I don't know how big it actually is. Later when the unidentifiable stuff defrosts from the freezer we will play my favorite game, Name That Taste! In between shovels of food I'm trying to get rid of I'm on my knees praying because my team plays a very important match later and half our defense is out injured and it's not looking good :(

  11. I can't put down Yes Please by Amy Poehler. I swear if this woman started a cult I'd join. She has a lot of insightful stuff to say about aging and a chapter on apologizing that should be required reading for anyone entering adulthood.

  12. Watching Green Day - Bullet in a Bible Concert/Documentary

I would have LOVED to have seen them on the American Idiot Tour.

  13. If anyone cares, Sting (the wrestler, not the singer who mumbles through a song then enunciates the last four words of it) made his long awaited WWE debut tonight at the Survivor Series, only I fear it's about 13 years too late for it to really matter.
