  1. I will not lie, this is a dream home for me. Now just add some beautiful rolling hills and some morning fog, Mr Darcy trekking through and the Jane Austen fan in me is heaven.

  3. THATS a cottage? Pretty big! Nice but looks stuck in 70's with bad remodeling. To dead and stuffy for me.

  5. Oh hell, I've been regretting not buying the Bronte homestead when it came up for sale 10 years ago. Now I have this to regret. Someday, my literature dreams WILL come true.

    1. Seachia. I think I love you. No zombies were mentioned in victorian (& pre) literature

    2. When I was in my 20s, I backpacked through Europe and ended up camping in Hathersage! Totally random stop and had zero knowledge of the history of this location. The next morning I went for a hike because it seriously is the most beautiful countryside ever, and came upon the cottage where Charlotte stayed and I believe wrote her first novel, or maybe inspiration for it. I was in such awe. One of the best moments of that trip!

    1. Oh my freaking GOD! I don't know if Lenny was behind that remodel (looks like he might have been) but that house is beyond hideous!!! It looks like a porn star/director's house. A total abomination to such a historic house.
