No shopping that is for sure. I did my time in retail and am ethically opposed to black Friday. I did get invited to a "anti consumer potluck" so that should be fun!
I have no standard activity on the day after. I have no TV at Blanc Debris (but a DVD player) so I'll be watching movies (shoot! I need to go to the library to get some) visiting friends, doing my traffic school cuz the extension is up on Tuesday (yeah, I know) and taking it easy. Gonna enjoy the 4 day weekend.
This year I'm taking the puppy for grooming. I'll see how I feel after that before planning anything else. I had separation anxiety the last time I took him for grooming.
Sleep in, eat leftovers, take a nice long walk and absolutely NO shopping! Just about everything I get is online now. I'm on a first name basis with the UPS guy!
I did Black Friday twice when it started after midnight with my sis in law who I rarely get to see and it was fun to both of us. That's it. Just fun. It was weird/fun being at the mall in the middle of the night and both times I got a great deal on my fav Pyrex and she got a couple toys for her daughter. And then the 24/7 diner after. There were barely any crowds both years. The amount of people was just like about 6pm on a weekday. Now it's just for assholes who hate their family and are too stupid to know that the TVs are cheaper on cyber Monday or even other days this season. #thanksobama
Sleep!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I do not EVER shop on Black Friday...I'm crazy but I'm not batshit crazy, tyvm!
Not shop. That's where madness lies.
ReplyDeleteNothing. I once worked retail (for a few years, actually) and I haven't shopped on Black Friday since.

ReplyDeleteAnd NO shopping. Why people go to a mall these days I will never know. On line way easier if you need to do it.

ReplyDeleteGood reminder. . Puppies need grooming too.

ReplyDeleteIf the weather is nice, get out and take the dogs for a walk. Maybe go downtown and walk around on Congress Street and hit some antique/junk shops.
