Daytime Party Monster

Who remembers the film Party Monster? Well, Michael Alig is out of jail, and still loves a good party, according to Page Six! Unfortunately, his parole-induced curfew restricts his partying to the daytime hours. In addition to day-partying in Ibiza, Alig co-designed a line of clothing with famed Sex and the City designer Patricia Field, and is working on his autobiography.

  5. He was a party organizer with the Club kids in New York in the 90s. While high on drugs, he brutally murdered his roommate. I did not see the film but loved the documentary.

  6. Party Monster was good, even though Parker Posey's character was super annoying.

I'm confused though...Alig's parole prevents him from going out at night, but not from flying to Ibiza??

    1. @Rose You are thinking of Party Girl. I always loved Parker's character line about the things she was good at, "keeping it together while being effed up and putting on make up."

      Never seen Party Monster myself.

    1. Agree. I really liked it, and thought it did a good job of portraying that sub culture.

  9. Rose. You're totally right- there's no way they're going to allow a former drug addict killer(butcherer, I should say) to fly to the Party Isle of the Seas where the drugs flow like the tide..& yet not let him out in New York After dusk---- BullS**t!!!
