Scott Stapp is Living In a Van Down By the River
Scott Stapp, frontman for the band Creed, is broke, according to Page Six. Stapp recently posted a 15-minute long rambling video to his Facebook page in which he claims that he has been living in his truck, and has no money for food or gas. Stapp also says he's missing money; he alleges that he has not been receiving royalty payments, and that money is missing from his bank account. A police report obtained by TMZ also reveals that Stapp was recently placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold in Florida for suffering from "drug-fueled delusions."

This brings tears to my eyes. How quickly life can turn around... :/
ReplyDeleteJokes aside, I hope he gets the help he needs. Creed was huge, how is he not receiving royalties?
He claims money was stolen from him AND the Feds incorrectly seized his money and it's inaccessible right now AND he has been screwed over on his royalties. I think it's more likely he blew through it all. Drugs are expensive, y'all.
Delete7-11-not familiar with this guy, but im thinking he uses money to buy drugs to self medicate mental illness. Hope he gets help he needs. And lol to van down by the river!
ReplyDeleteHe was also held on a 5150 hold in Nov when he called his children's school and alerted the principal that the school was being watched by Isis and was going to be targeted for an attack :s
ReplyDeleteHe has some issues he needs to work out and I think rehab is necessary.
A very sad, and all too familiar rock and roll story. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he was ripped off. Record labels and agents are minions of evil.
ReplyDeleteWasn't Creed supposed to be a Christian Rock band?
ReplyDeleteThat was the story when they first hit it big.
Deletehe always looked super creepy to me.. i think it was his weird nose and that platypus hair
ReplyDelete'platypus hair':a description too good not to google
DeleteYes Creed was a huge Christian Rock band. He succumbed to drug which triggered his mental issues. And it would not surprise me either if he's not getting his royalties either. The music industry is vicious.
ReplyDeleteAlso Scott was married but now lives at the Holiday Inn. He seriously needs help but I'm betting he won't take it.
USPS doesn't deliver mail to a van down by the river, you need a permanent address for the royalty payments, maybe the ex gets them
ReplyDeleteHey I'm cute
ReplyDeleteMETH
ReplyDeleteI think he is mentally ill, and started doing drugs to self medicate, or was doing drugs, which triggered the mental illness. Regardless, there might be some truth to his money being stolen, but my guess is he is delusional and has lost/spent/given away at least part of his money. He needs a conservator and to get mental health help.
ReplyDeleteIsn't he the same guy who had some kind of sex video thing alongside Kid Rock?? With some groupies - not WITH Kid Rock!!!
ReplyDeleteYes! A couple years ago, there was a video (or maybe it was a pic) of Scott and Kid Rock, standing side-by-side, getting blow jobs on the tour bus after a show. THAT is what I think of when I hear his name. Blech.
