Rolling Stone reports that Miranda Lambert opened Redemption Ranch, a no-kill animal shelter, over the weekend. The five-acre property bought by Lambert's MuttNation Foundation was improved with help from Pedigree and will hold up to fifty dogs. Lambert has always been really passionate about adopting shelter pets and it's awesome to see someone using her money and fame to help those who can't help themselves.
That is really awesome of her.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! I wish I liked Country music because I would buy some of her music....All the musicians I like generally spend their dough on drugs....
ReplyDeleteAnd that's the way I like it Derek!
DeleteJust kidding. This is wonderful of her.
What a wonderful way to give back.
ReplyDeleteGood for her! I hope this inspires other country stars to do something like this.
ReplyDeleteSeems she married the one with mange, though. He's such a dog.
...no offense intended to dogs, of course.
DeleteI live near her. She's badass- does a lot to help the community and the dog rescue groups. Anytime she's driving around town and sees a wandering pup, she stops and picks the dog up and gives it a home. She's a lovely girl.
ReplyDeleteLove this! What a great use of her celebrity, anyone who loves animals is good with me.
ReplyDeleteEver since I got the new puppy, my first small dog, I've turned into a furrbabymama. When I was referred to as Rocco's Mom I got all teary. I really like Miranda and now I like her even more.
ReplyDeleteGood for her!!! Even better for the furrables!!! <3
ReplyDeleteGood on her. Just saw a thing on reddit how a girl in Thailand found a dog with a broken back on a beach, no use of back legs, and she raised 7G to get him back to canada and got him all sorted, it was lovely. Assholes are like "that 7G could've helped PEOPLE" it's like oh fuck off, she did a great thing
ReplyDeleteI like animals more than I like people. Yay for the animals that will be saved by her.
ReplyDeleteTeam Miranda!!! Fur kids all the way!
ReplyDeleteI hope she sets a trend, good on her
