  1. So why is Madonna having her back up singers singing the melody to the point of almost drowning her out? Esp since the the back up singers have awesome pipes. Ew did I have to see Ktrash. Good recovery on the fall though.

  2. couldn't have happened to a nicer person. But I'm willing to bet that whomever is responsible not only got a several verbal lashing but also fired and then blacklisted.

    1. It's a music awards show for Britain. Your equivalent would be the Grammys.

  5. Ouch! I hurt for her watching this! She's a pro, though...got right up and got back to it. I know I couldn't, lol.

  7. In the opening sequence I thought that was a man talking. What has happened to her voice? I'm not a fan of hers but I don't remember her speaking voice sounding that low. I don't own any of her albums or videos but I grew up watching her on MTV and so I've seen and heard plenty of her hits. This song sounded tired and she looked like she was doing some old dance moves from the Like a Virgin era (and she wasn't doing them well).

I thought the whole performance was a giant fail. Her singing sounded poor, her dance moves looked recycled and tired and for the love of God the red light show was seizure inducing. Visually it was a nightmare. If that's how she sounds when she sings live, it's no wonder she lip synchs.

  9. As Dame Elton John pointed out, Midge doesn't sing she lip syncs.

Her thin little voice has about a five note range. Her singing is on par with that of JHo.

  10. My god! That was a serious fall. She was being pulled backwards by the neck. Ouch. She gets a lot of credit for continuing the show. As for her voice and dance moves, well, I am willing to bet she was more than a little shakey after the fall, so she gets a pass for that.
