  2. Tina Fey, Steve Martin, Amy Poehler, Neil Gaiman, Lena Heady.

I would say Thor but I don't think his wife would like to see a woman climbing on her husband.

  9. Awww shucks! Thanks, Outtie! First pick would definitely be Robert Downey, Jr. I don't want to just meet him quickly, though. A long lunch would be nice (without the wife) :-)

    1. You reminded me that I'd like to meet Seth MacFarlane. He's been very kind to me on Twitter. One time he RT'd a pic I sent him and then it got RT'd almost 4000 times. It was crazy!

  14. this is hard I sometimes think it is better never to meet anyone you admire.

  15. Bob Odenkirk! Don't one of you know him??? (Hint, hint) ;)

  16. Robert Evans, the fabulous 1970s producer of The Godfather, Chinatown, etc. I'm loving his autobiographies - he has two of them. He did it all and lived it all, times 20.

John Lydon, aka Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols. He was such a rebel and has settled down to a thoroughly traditional life - he's been with one (older) woman for more than 30 years. His new work is pretty good, too.

I've long been a Debbie Harry fan - love her strength and style - but I read a biography of her recently and she seemed a little dull as a person.

  17. Downey Jr. is supposed to be an arrogant prick in real life.

I'd meet Tori Amos! David Lynch, Amy Sedaris, Stephen Colbert, Seth McFarlane, Neil Gaiman. Lots of people. Amos is at the top.

  21. I think spending an afternoon hanging out with Tom Hiddleston and Judy Dench would be fun and interesting. Princess Diana (if still living) seems like she would be quite interesting & fun to knock around with as well. I'd prefer to meet people who aren't "Hollywood" types.

A pub crawl with Richard Harris, Vincent Price, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart would have been epic (if Harris and Price were still with us).

  22. Realistically, I can't meet anyone because I am too shy to say anything noteworthy or interesting to them. I'm the sort who would panic if I saw one of my teachers at the grocery store, or the pastor at a restaurant. I even have trouble when I run into co-workers outside of work! Pathetic. Imagine if I got onto an elevator with Neil Peart, I'd probably have to leave on the next floor, and hate myself for years after.

But if I ran into Eddie Vedder, I would tell him that according to genealogy work, he and my husband share a great great great great great great great great great great great grandfather. I mean, at that point we are all related, but in this case, we know HOW.

    1. Do you have social anxiety? My brother has that, and is too shy to talk to people. I talk to strangers in the grocery store, and he told me he HATES if a stranger tries to talk to him.
