    1. Haven't seen it. I liked GGTD so I'll give BMJ a try. I know I'm late to the game but I'm binge watching Shameless.
Did you watch Broad City yet?!

  4. reposted from other site

In the late 70’s this former A list (YA) mostly movie actress who got her start in television and has offspring galore in the business had her movie career crash. She was always a free spirit and judging by what I saw, she got paid almost as much for one night as she did on most of her movies in the 70’s.

If you were ever going to think of an actress (YB) back then who would be into this type of thing it would be this A lister at the time from a huge franchise who never had any other luck. For a few years she was someone everyone wanted and apparently many enjoyed.

One I was shocked to see was someone who has won an Academy Award (YC). Back in the 70’s everyone loved her acting and by the time the last year of the decade arrived she was one of the biggest stars on the planet. The year before that though she struggled to earn money and this actress who is now an A list mostly television actress was a favorite of a lot of people. Probably the most requested of the decade.

    1. my guesses.........

      yb=== carrie fischer

      any other guesses???

    2. Susan Sarandon could fit too for YA

    3. Only 1 offspring in the business though.

Not gotten to broad city yet. Soon

    4. @sugartits- Susan also has one son who is an actor and the other is a director (with Tim Robbins)

    5. I like sugarbread' guesses.

Goldie has 2 off spring in the biz - Kate and Oliver. I don't know if that = Galore but who knows?

I agree w/Carrie Fisher for #2 and for the last I'm gonna go with Jessica Lange, AHS has literally revived her career.

Sally Field has had a fairly steady career in the last few decades. She had a slump after those Burt Reynolds flicks in the 70's but she's been doing quite well for herself for quite some time I imagine.

  5. Interesting from the Daily Mail

Richard Pryor's widow brands Bill Cosby a hypocrite who 'had sex with everything that moved' in scathing interview
Jennifer Lee Pryor also branded the embattled comedian as a 'hypocrite' on the podcast ' Alison Rosen is Your New Best Friend'
Claims Cosby's allegedly lurid behavior was a 'well-kept' secret
Also believes his wife Camille knew what her husband was doing all along

    1. I believe it. I also think Eddie Murphy wouldn't do Bill Cosby on SNL because that man has plenty of his own secrets, not because he didn't want to "kick a man when he's down".

    2. IDK Julie, it seems like Eddie just wants to be difficult about everything anymore. He has shunned SNL for years and probably didn't want to be there anyway. Did he do James Brown, Gumby, or Mr. Robinson's neighborhood?

  6. This is interesting, Kurt Sutter has a new show for FX called The Bastard Executioner and Katey Sagal will be in it and Kurt will have an onscreen role. Stephen Moyer from True Blood will be in it and it is a historical drama. And they are filming it in Wales in March. This is more up my alley LOL. Quite a sea change from SOA. Though warriors are warriors whatever the century LOL.
