  2. Sad that he lost the fight. LA traffic must be brutal but the pedestrians get hit here in SF all the time. RIP

    1. He was jay-walking (which we are all guilty of) but still very, very sad none the less. RIP

    2. Here's the deal, if you're going to jay-walk make sure it's clear. Honestly I have seen pedestrians, because they have the right of way, just walk into oncoming traffic. Like we have crosswalks where there isn't a light but you still have to make sure it's clear. I've had people just launch right into the street and I've had to slam on my brakes. And I'm a walker so I understand. But some people just don't consider that their actions could kill them.

    3. @Sherry, we have some main roads in town notorious for jaywalkers and it drives me insane when people TAKE THEIR SWEET DAMN TIME!!!!! Agree, with you-make sure its very clear and try to haul ass! Otherwise, do the right thing and use one of the many crosswalks.

      RIP Ben.

    4. I tell you one place you better not Jay walk or walk against the light is Las Vegas. Those fuckers will NOT slam on the brakes (on the strip anyway). I was there for a convention years back and there had been several fatalities of idiot pedestrians trying to cross against the light and they didn't make it.

Cars are bigger than people, never assume they're gonna see you or slow down/stop for you. That Meep person was quite small too. Sad deal.
