Kardashian Korner

It's all happening! Page Six reports that Bruce Jenner will sit down with Diane Sawyer to talk about his transition to life as a woman. The interview will start filming this week, but will not air until May; probably to coincide with the premiere of the docuseries that he has been filming. Kris Jenner is not involved in the production of either endeavor, although she will appear on the series. I have to say, I find it refreshing that the world has largely responded positively to Bruce's transition (aside from that horrifically insensitive In Touch cover). Congratulations, Bruce!

  1. Good for him for having the courage, it can't be easy. You go, Bruce!

  2. I just hope the Kardashian branch of his family let him have his moment in the sun.Everybody loves Bruce and I'm sure they do,but they need to resist the lure of the spotlight for a minute

  3. He be better off confirming what everyone already knows. Then the tabloids will move on and let him be.

  4. I guess I view this as a personal, private matter and I do not understand the need to put it out for public consumption. I'm not suggesting that Jenner's feelings are something he should be ashamed of or embarrassed by, but I do not understand the need or the inclination to publicize it. For those that say it will be helpful to others experiencing the same feelings, I don't think making a serious situation into a media circus helps anybody.

    1. Well he did try to keep it private didn't he. But news and gossip blogs endlessly speculated right up until that In Touch cover, so he had to publicly address it, and now is as good time as any.

  5. Karen, in some ways I agree and kind of wish Bruce was better than this. I guess he's been in the klan too long and oversharing is a way of life now. Maybe once the transition is completed he can finally be a strong woman and live her own life without the cameras.

  6. Lately I've been wondering if this isn't just another plot to make him/them money.

I think he's been coaxing the paps. No one pulls over to the side of the road to sit in car smoking, showing off their manicure (lol), especially when you're being followed by the (unwanted) paps.

If it weren't for the reports years ago of his wives "confiding" to others that he liked dressing up in womens clothes if be even more suspect.

I, too, think it's mostly a matter that isn't for the cameras and that his capitalizing on it seems sketchy. The other part of me thinks, may as well profit from it and put it out there.

    1. @Sincerely - I have to admit, but just to you, I've imagined that during the interview, Jenner pulls a Roseanne Roseannadanna -- "Nevermind!"

    2. I've seen someone go through this transition at my job. They offered her a transfer so she could work under her new name and gender without any problems. She refused.

That said I hope this isn't some KTrash scam.

Did anyone see Fashion Police last week? Kris Jenner was walking around in see through Chanel pants with a clutch purse covering her vajayjay. I put nothing past that woman and her brood.

  10. I say if he wants to talk about it, let him talk. Nobody is holding a gun to his head. If you don't want to watch it, don't watch it. This is probably his way of getting the correct info (that he wants to share) out there. That way after it happens if someone asks endless questions he/she can say - I already answered that on my show. Maybe he feels like this is the only way to feel control over what's happening. Who knows?
