Your Morning Bobbi Kristina Update
Finally, some good news! TMZ is reporting that Bobbi Kristina is doing significantly better than she has been. Doctors performed a battery of tests on Monday, and she is now able to move her eyes. In addition, the swelling has gone down in her brain, and her brain oxygen levels have increased to four times the amount that they were on Sunday. She is still not out of the woods, though. Due to the length of time she was deprived of oxygen - between two to five minutes - doctors are fearful that there will be some neurological damage.
They are also reporting that on a "second, more thorough" search the police found drugs in the house.
ReplyDeleteI saw that. So presumably, Nick and friend likely removed the direct evidence but the police found BK's hidden stash
DeleteI'm hearing so much conflicting information! Some say doing better, others saying it's pretty bad.
ReplyDeleteI know miracles do happen, and I hope one happens for Bobbi Kristina.
Her family said they don't know if the eye movement was voluntary or involuntary. http://nbcnews.to/1HSFIRo
ReplyDeleteI saw the initial report that no drugs were found in the home and immediately thought someone had 'sanitized' things before the police search. I think it's been reported she had an addiction problem. I did hear (somewhere) that alcohol was a factor as well.
ReplyDeleteIt's a sad situation for such a young girl who has probably had a more difficult upbringing than any of us know. Hope for the best for her.
This is bullshit. She never regained consciousness after she was found and has been kept alive by machines this whole time. The eye flutter was involuntary but they're twisting it into false hope.
ReplyDelete@Kat- why would they do that?
DeleteDo you have an "inside" source?
ReplyDeletePolice, without a search warrant, can only "look around" if they are not given permission. They returned with a search warrant and likely found the drug paraphenelia/bottles/residue then.
ReplyDelete@CoBe. Probably true. Based on years of TV watching experience, they can only do the in plain sight thing. No rummaging around. There was nothing at the time that would indicate foul play. So unless someone gave them permission to search (and I'm not sure that would be legal if they weren't the homeowner/landlord) the search would have limits.
DeleteTMZ is often unreliable. Other media outlets are reporting that a full recovery is highly unlikely. Probably family members are feeding this story to TMZ until it can be determined if she'll die off of life support or be in a permanent vegetative state.
ReplyDeleteHopefully she won't end up like Sunny von Bulow.
"some neurological damage."? I think what you mean is more neurological damage than there was before the incident.

ReplyDeleteet said last night bk and nick were never legally married. not sure if that's true but i don't see her making a 1/2 way recovery. not trying to bee debbie downer but not looking good and i still think nick killed whitney to marry bk then kill bk off
ReplyDeletelike i said
time and tide all things come out in the wash
I truly hope they aren't legally married.
DeleteBobby Brown released a statement confirming they are not infact married
DeleteSugar there is nothing any of us knows at the moment that contradicts your statement is there?
DeleteI'm glad Cissy Houston isn't running Bobby away from his child like she ran him out of Whitney's funeral. Poor Whitney had issues before Bobby came on the scene. Clive Davis covered them up.
Don't they retest the brain waves though?
ReplyDeleteAgain-this is someones private(!) medical affairs. How the fudge is TMZ privy to this information?
ReplyDeleteThey also said Joan Rivers was improving, and then she died. Not saying Bobbi Kristina will die, I just don't really believe any of these speculative reports from places like TMZ.
ReplyDeleteAccording to several media outlets, police have seized Nick Gordon's cell phone and are going through it in relation to the "medical emergency".
ReplyDeleteJust my opinion here, but all these "conspiracy" theories about who killed who.. Whitney, BK , Kurt, Jim....these people were all addicts who didn't need anyone else's help in ending their lives.
ReplyDeleteI hate how her family was so ready to pull the plug on her after less than two days. If it were me I'd be clinging on for as long as I can, and taking any sign of improvement (such as the eye flutter) as more reason to keep her alive, until her condition stabilizes to a point where there is no longer any improvement.
ReplyDeleteAnd I also hate now all the family is popping out of the woodwork pointing fingers and bickering at each other as to who has the right to be with her.
I really hope she can recover to the extent possible and reevaluate her life. :(
Apparently Nick is persona non grata at the hospital. He snuck into BK's room and hospital security threw him out. He's got big shiny brass ones doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteLet's face it, she's toast.
