Warren Sapp Arrested for Solicitation

TMZ is reporting that Warren Sapp, 42, was arrested in Phoenix on Monday morning for soliciting a prostitute. Actually, make that two prostitutes. Oh, and a fight broke out over money, and the women had "injuries consistent with a struggle;" Sapp has no idea where they could have gotten said injuries. Sapp was covering the Super Bowl for the NFL Network. The NFL Network has fired Sapp due to the charges; he had been with the network since 2008.

    Warren Sapp cheap? His reputation as an incredible tipper, doesn't suggest this at all.

    I agree with Sherry. Why does anyone risk their lives and livelihood in these ways? But especially for high-profile people - it's just stupid. For those who (I suspect) have an ethics clause in their contract - it's lunacy.

    They should just legalize prostitution. This is a dumb reason to lose a decent gig. I didn't check to see if he is married or not but if he isn't who really cares?

      Yep someone prone to beat up a hooker, legalization is not going to change that attitutde unless these women have better security/bouncers. I thought most smart hookers get all their money up front.

    He doesn't have a good reputation, especially here in Tampa. He's a notorious douche who doesn't tip and doesn't like to have to pay for things.
