@califblondy: I love See's candy! I was so glad when See's finally set up kiosks on the East Coast at Christmas time. I love that when I buy a box of soft centers, they don't sneak nuts into the maple creams. I hate nuts interfering with my chocolate. ;-)
@califblondy: Oooooo, I love the Bordeaux. My favorite is orange cream/dark chocolate. My mom loved Tofeettes & she loved to give them as Christmas gifts as something different. Her friends really looked forward to getting their package. :-)
Not sure if you'll see this, but this is in response to your multiple questions re my involvement in Co$. First, I mean ABSOLUTELY no disrespect to you in any way, but Rule #1 is not to ask if someone's in or an ex-Co$, because it's that person's story to tell when they're ready. There are others that work anonymously for their own reasons.
Prime example is EJU lashing out at Leah Remini for not immediately speaking out against Co$. Whoever's writing for that site has no concept of brainwashing & the decompression ex-Cult members go thru as they re-enter society. OG Enty always spoke out against the Cult, but he didn't attack an individual who left (e.g., actor Jason Beghe in 2008, director Paul Haggis in 2009).
That said, I wasn't nervous nor scared about Co$ & the HBO documentary "Going Clear" airing at Sundance. I was exhausted from pouring over documents that a recent FOIA request from 1963 produced re the FDA investigation into Co$. My comment re Mr. Bluezz was in relation to the amount of extra time I was spending. He understands my longtime fight against Narconon because innocent people die on their watch. But I was crossing over into a different area & it was consuming all of my extra time. It was making me crazy & not fun to be around.
I was a longtime critic of Co$ at the old site. My apologies, again, if you weren't aware of my involvement in the fight to bring this Cult to its knees. Anarchy Gossip is supposed to be fun & an escape from everyday troubles. I chose to speak out that day because an AG post had been made about the documentary.
I hope you'll take my comments in a good way & not as a negative response. :-)
If you haven't found your way to Tony Ortega's site, here's one of his latest stories on the atrocities that are still being committed today. This happened just last May in Arkansas.
**Warning: The story is horrific & may be a trigger for some. But if you're familiar with the 1995 Lisa McPherson story, at least this girl was found before she died & is now a ward of the State & getting some help.
Yeah, bluezz, no harm no foul we're good. Today i went dil and hubby and 2 grandchildren to build a bear. They had gift certificates, which is fine for actual stuffed animal- not all bears, today was unicorm, as my 4 yr grand calls it, and pink heart cat-, but by the time these little animals get their shoes, glasses, skates, capes, dr outfits, beds, chairs, headbands, dr outfits, ballerina tutus, cars, the bill goes way way up, lol. My dil is very good to these critters, lol. It was good to get out tho.
late this afternoon I received a telephone call that the food bank will be receiving funding from a grant proposal I wrote early last year. I don't have to lay off staff. I'm so excited and happy I may run out into the snow and dance.
Wondering if Pete Carroll is feeling any better?
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad a coworker still has See's Christmas candy. That shit don't go bad.
Still need a job, and still watching too much Investigation Discovery channel. I now trust no one.

ReplyDeleteEnjoy a piece for me, will ya?
I'm mowing down a can of Tofeettes, lots of nuts.
DeleteMy favorite pieces though are nut-free chocolate butter and Bordeaux. Try 'em if you've never had 'em.

DeleteDamn, gurl. My mouth is watering now. :-p LOL
What is this chocolate you speak of? I've never heard of it before
DeleteWondering where Derek Harvey is. Has he abandoned us?
ReplyDeleteI dunno, but my Derek bat signal a few days ago was not effective.
DeleteHope all is well, D!
Listening to NIN and waiting for LilSnarky to get out of school.
