The Latest on Bobbi Kristina

People magazine is reporting that Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown, is inconsolable over his daughter's condition. Bobbi Kristina has not regained consciousness, and remains on a respirator. There is very little brain activity. Doctors state that a full recovery is technically possible, but it would be a miracle.

  1. Went over to KJE's site, he states matter of factly that it was a drug over dose also that the husband refused to let the police search the home without a warrant. Makes no sense. You can flush/dispose of evidence, but toxicology will still reveal the truth.

    1. KJE likes to stir up controversy hoping for hits on the site. That is why he refers to Bobbi's husband as her brother/husband and this morning more or less accused him of doing something to her for her money. Unfortunately when the conspiracy theory KJE goes on a rant, people think 'he' is speaking the truth or has insider knowledge, and believe what they are reading. Enty's days as an insider are long over....as we well know.

    2. Does anyone know who stands to get her money?

    3. @Julie, I would think her husband would be the one to inherit, unless she has some kind of will stating otherwise.

    4. I believe her husband has something to do with this. Even if he didn't actively do something to her, he passively watched her get worse and worse over the last 6 months or so as rumors swirled about her out-of-control drug abuse. People kill or turn a blind eye for much less money than she has.

    5. @Julie, actually from what I understand, Cissy is the executor of the estate, when BK turned 21, she got 10% of her inheritance of $100 Million, at 25 she would get 20% etc. You better believe that Cissy would move mountains to ensure Whitneys estate not end up with Nick should BK pass.

    6. I wonder how much money is involved. Whitney was not a songwriter, which is where the really big green is. I suppose we're talking about sales of recordings, licensing of recordings, licensing of images (which is where Elvis and Marilyn Monroe make so much money), possible points on films - anything else?

    7. Another site (MTO, maybe?) is claiming that the relationship with her husband had been strained, and that the police are investigating as if it were a homicide.
I have to admit, I'd be surprised if he didn't play a role in her situation. He (at least, IMHO) gaslit her.

    8. @Snarky, I saw that. They are wording things as if she has passed already. MTO is very trashy.

    9. Before becoming a stay at home, I worked in the legal field. In circumstances like these where the person isn't expected to make it, it's not uncommon for police to begin investigating as if it's a homicide.

  2. @ Gina, toxicology might reveal the cause of death, but wouldn't necessarily reveal where the drugs came from or who may have 'helped' Krissi ingest them. Actual drugs could be traced to a dealer (based on package markings, etc.) which means the purchase and administration could be traced to....someone else. Paging Cathy Smith.

    1. Oh shit, shows how little I know about this subject!

    2. BK's drug use was a pretty well-known problem; I doubt you'd have to work too hard to "convince" her to take something. I don't think that's where the sinister shit happened. I think the husband and friend who found her cleaned the hell outta that place before doing anything, probably before even calling for help. Tox screens will obviously show if/what she took, but they'll just claim they have no idea where she got it since the house was clean.

    3. @Nutty- in 2011 or 2012, Gawker reported that Bobbi was known to have a dealer in common with her mom. Bobbi had been posting cryptic messages in the days up until her death but who knows. They can always trace her drug pick ups by her phone and social media records even if they don't physically have the drugs.

    4. @Lady Good point - but that evidence is still one step removed. A documented phone call (by Bobbi or Nick) to a dealer doesn't reveal exactly what was sold, how much was sold and in what concentration - only that a possible transaction was requested. Physical evidence is much more convincing in court. I seem to recall that Whitney's hotel room had been cleaned out before the cops arrived, too - is that correct?

    5. They still found remnant of cocaine, paraphernalia (coke spoon) and lots of Rx pills at the scene. No stash though, which ws weird for a habitual cocaine user who allegedly just reupped recently. My understanding is that there are a few competing factors in Whitney's death. They believe she suffered either a cardiac arrhythmia due to the estimated half a gram of coke that she had just snorted; or that she had a seizure connected with Xanax use. One or a combination of these led Whitney to go under. She was unconscious or dead before getting in the water, which was scalding hot and left burns on her face.

    6. @Lady Hm - I did not know that. What an ugly end for a pretty lady.

If she was unconscious or dead before getting in the water, doesn't that suggest that someone tossed her in?

      Delete
    7. Could have been but there were no reported signs of a struggle. They believe that she collapsed into the tub during the arrhythmia or seizure. She had two superficial marks on her forehead, so they theorized that she merely fell in,

Please God she finds some peace.

    1. "That poor kid" was my exact thought when Whitney announced she was pregnant. :-( I felt even more strongly about it when I saw her having to deal with her crazy, drug-addicted parents on Bobby Brown's horrible reality show. So very sad.

    2. Amen IJU, nurture and nature together = pretty grim unless she had some stable influences and a hell of a lot of counselling.

  4. I think this was on overdose for sure, but not accidental. Just the circumstances (in a bathtub) and timing (very close to the date of her mother's death) makes me suspect Bobbi was trying to kill herself and go the same way as her mother. I don't think she ever got over that. The whole thing is a tragedy, but sadly not uncommon in the young who maybe probably don't think they will actually die, but are sending out a message. But sometimes these "messages" take and there is no chance to get the sympathy and help you are looking for because you died.

  5. When you drown in a bathtub, how does your body end up face down?

    2. I got the impression she tripped and fell into the tub. Like she was shooting up (or whatever) in the bathroom and collapsed/tripped/passed out and fell into the tub. I thought I read she had injuries to her head (like she hit it when she fell down).

  6. Once again the dysfunction of the parents takes its' toll on the children. It's unimaginable to me that most of these celebrity parents care so little about raising healthy, well-adjusted children and so much about their own hedonistic lifestyle. Say what you will about Houston and her drug problem, she was in a position to get all the help she needed to get and stay clean and she chose not to do so. The damage didn't end with her death, it continues.

    1. Anybody know what the count is on how many kids Bobby Brown has out there?

  7. @Julie, I would suppose you sedate yourself so heavily that you roll over. If you're not pretty heavily doped up and/or drunk or have a seizure of some sort, your survival instinct would propel you out of the water as soon as you had trouble breathing.

Unless, of course, someone was holding you under. See this Snopes Article about the 'Bride in the Bath' killer, who would get his victims comfy in a hot bath, then pull up their feet, submerging their heads.

  8. If something like this ever happens to me, pull the plug, please,

This is so sad for Bobbi Kristina. I hope she can recover, but it doesn't look like that is very likely.

  9. Here is some interesting information:

Nick was the one who found Whitney in the same position

On the 23rd, there was a domestic disturbance in the home. Police were called and nobody answered the door. Shortly thereafter, Nick moved out. He was gone the night before this happened (allegedly).

Nick shows up with a friend (witness) after saying Krissi called him.

I believe she has been brain dead since the beginning. Why then was it reported to the media that she was "stable"? Likely because as the police were interrogating Nick, they wanted to tell him that Krissi had been able to pass along information. That's what they do.

It appears that Pat Houston (Whitney's SIL and former manager) was able to obtain a restraining order against Nick. This could only happen if there was some pretty serious evidence.

If it was an overdose, why did Nick (and his friend) clean up the evidence? Either he had something to do with it, or they were HIS drugs.

Both Whitney and Krissi were found FACE DOWN in the water, which suggests someone holding them under, not falling asleep and slipping into the water.

Krissi had just inherited $10 million. If she were going to get a divorce, Nick gets $0 of that as it is inherited money, not earned money.

Of course, it could all be a tragic accident too.

    1. Very interesting CoBe - thanks.

Much easier to kill someone who has a well-known and documented drug and alcohol problem.

  10. As to Nick's motivation to kill Whitney, she was against him dating Krissi as they were sort of siblings (although he was never adopted so had no claim to any money). Is it possible that Whitney threatened to cut off Krissi if she continued to date Nick?

Why wouldn't Krissi write a suicide note if suicide?

Both situations have stink all over them.

  11. Maybe my head is tainted by watching the rob Lowe lifetime movie this weekend about the Novak murders where the wife has the mother of her husband murdered and then her husband to get the inheritance because the mother hated her and the husband was going to leave everything to his mother. So after she had his mother killed he was going to legally adopt her daughter who he had raised as his own for 20 plus years. So she killed him and tried to kill her own daughter before her daughter stopped her..

I think nick had a "hand" in Whitney being face down in the tub
and a hand in bk As well. .

  12. I lost a friend recently who was brain dead & on life support (horrible story. She collapsed after being ill from pneumonia and violent husband refused her access to medical Tx, daughter found her unconscious & was too afraid of father to call ambulance). When they did the autopsy they found deep wounds, cigarette burns, and broken (recent) bones from where he drove a car OVER her. Bastard never got charged cos she died. Daughters too afraid to talk. I hope if BK was being abused; it comes out & justice is served.

  13. What a horrible thing to happen to someone Bee Haven. I hope the daughter is ok & removed from her Dad. Hugs to you.
Domestic violence is so insidious. I know people always say why don't they leave? But there are probably thousands of reasons they can't. More so if there have been years & years of mental/psychological as well. It's hard to convince anyone of scars they can't see.
I just hope the daughter & any other kiddles are safe now. Huge love.

    1. Bee - the husband was never charged with anything because she died!???! What the hell is that all about?? The police didn't think cigarette burns on her body were suspicious???? God help the daughter left behind. Poor thing must live in terror 24-7.

    2. Seriously get off my lawn, her parents are trying to seek justice. The husband is claiming wounds were self inflicted. Yeah, right. Like she was able to drive a car over her GD leg. That man is the biggest POS I've ever known. She was cut off from everyone. No facebook. No mobile phone, internet access. Cops were called frequently by neighbours but he just accused her of being drunk & unstable. She was too afraid to speak up. I tried, by proxy, to siphon info to her re DV services/supports via my mum to her mum to Leah. Both daughters left their mum unconscious 15 mins plus until a neighbour called an ambo, that's how terrified they were. I have personally taken this on, justice for Leah. At the funeral my hubs had to physically hold me back (I'm not big) from literally gouging his eyes out, or at least spitting on him and inviting him to take a slog at me, seeing he's such a 'big' man.

    3. Oh goodness Bee, do be careful. How old are the daughters?

    4. Gina - seven and ten. Never met them. Wasn't allowed. Saw them at the funeral. The grandparents (Leah's folks) are trying on the surface to 'stay nice' with the human skidmark whilst pursuing legal options.
