    1. I was thinking the same thing. I don't know why I find this so boring. I'm getting so tired of self glorifying selfies I guess.

  2. I would have thought it was a prank too! First MaKaRiRi and now MakaGaGa!
When I was a teenager, I answered the home phone line once and this very polite man asked if he could please speak with my mother....after first introducing himself as Carlos Santana. I laughed my ass off, handed her the phone and was like hey oooooo, some guy is claiming to be Carlos Santana! (It was totally him) SMFH

    1. OMG, you know Carlos Sanatana??!!!

Do you get free shoes? LOL.

    2. No I don't know Carlos (sadly). He called my mom about some venture he was considering a long time ago, I think somewhere in Florida. I was honestly surprised my mom even knew who Carlos was, because her pop culture knowledge is pretty much confined to being able to identify Harrison Ford and Julia Roberts.

  3. They deserve each other.

@MinPin, totally agree. Selfies all the damn time, it's like everybody look at me!! Look at me!! Keep looking at me!! I get they have to do it for PR, but please, can someone be a little more original?

  6. And as for Paul McCartney, his star faded long ago. He's a terrible live performer, living off his 60's songwriting heyday.I may have just commited an act of treason

    1. People I know said his performance at Petco Park in SD last year was the best concert they had ever seen.

    2. He is phenomenal live. The most recent I've seen him was just a few months ago and it was great, one of the best concerts I've ever seen as well. That coming from somebody who's seen a laundry list of Rock-N-Roll hall of famers live in my time. And entertainment criticism is actually my job (and degree) field, so I've got some knowledge on the subject. He's actually fucking insane in performance for a 72 year old, I don't know how he does it, it shouldn't be physically possible. Played 3 instruments- piano, guitar, & bass- & one on every single song. He barely sits down, as he hops around when he did take to the piano bench. It's impressive, I'm 28 and couldn't do that physically. My only complaint with his show is he hardly dives into the early Beatles tunes. "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" was the first song I ever learned as a kid I was dying to hear it. And a huge seminal hits like "Love Me Do", "I Saw Her Standing There", "She Loves You", he didn't play a one. And it's a crime. He didn't play anything pre late 1964, actually. And that's definitely the most important time period in his musical history, so it was very, very disappointing to find that about the song selection. That's the only disappointment though.

  7. Perhaps he's transitioning! Maybe he and Bruce will be roomies on a new, very special reality show?

  8. No Paul, nooooo! Just say no!

I used to be able to blame that damn hair coloring shit on that gold-digging bitch he married after Linda died. Cuz he was aging & graying naturally. But now? There is no defense anymore.

    And Lady Gaga?

You, Sir Paul, have broken this little 4-year-old heart's forever. :-(

  9. I know he's knighted and an icon but its time to relax and rest on his laurels. Be remembered for good stuff not cheesy duets with the flavor of the month.

    1. I don't see that happening. True creative types (vs. those who just were out to be "rockstars") never stop, they can't. And while I'm ardently against collaborating with these modern hacks like Gaga, West. PM's last album New was quite good, a classic-feeling record. Critically well received. He manged to produce a updated sound that still had the timeless, infectious feel all his former solo (I include Wings in that) and Beatles' work shares.

  10. "...my buddy"? He's not your dog, dummy.

  11. He does look a lady, but Gaga looks TRAGIC. Stop with the procedures already. She looks wayyyyyyy older than what she really is or claims to be. Hate selfies, too. Celebrity and regular people style. Just awful. Whenever somebody wants me in one I run and hide.

  12. God YES! Enough with the fucking peace sign!!! If you weren't alive in the 60's then you can't flash the fucking peace sign!!! (Paul can flash it all he wants btw). I'm so sick of seeing twits like Miley etc flashing it like they were alive when Nixon was president etc etc etc.

God I didn't realize this pissed me off so bad until I read Karen W.'s post.
