Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas Voted Worst Movie Ever Made

Kirk Cameron's new movie Saving Christmas has been ranked the Worst Movie Ever Made on IMDB, according to Us Weekly. The film has beat out Gigli, From Justin to Kelly, and Glitter for the (dis)honor. Critics have also universally panned the film.

    1. Same. My first thought was, "I can turn this into some sort of drinking game..."

    1. I haven't seen it, but I suspect it has a strong biblical message, as do most of his recent movies.

    2. It's about Jesus and if you don't let him in your heart, you will burn in hell with all the homosexuals. Also, Santa will be very sad.

    3. Rose that's hilarious and most likely the plot. Someone needs to find the review on Rotten Tomatoes. Not in my skill set sadly.

  4. Wow, what an esteemed honor to be voted the worst movie ever! What about the Battlefield Earth or whatever John Travolta's COS movie was called?

Be careful filming stuff about religion, folks. It backfires for the truly pious it seems.

    1. Sherry you got me hooked on The Love Boat. It's on every Sunday and I love it thank you!

    2. And the Love Boat has a better message than Kirk's film.

    3. LOL, I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing Kat. That Saturday there wasn't a thing on so Love Boat was a good distraction. Today I'm flipping back and forth between Benjamin Button and Taladega Nights. BB is winning out.

  6. wow.. i bet mostly stay at home mom's doing what god and their husband's always intended them to be put on this earth to do were the ones primarily voting since between cleaning, cooking for the man, shopping for the family and making the home peaceful, i'm sure they found time to figure out how technology works and downvote kirk cameron's spreading the joyous holiday cheer movie...

oh and i'm sure all those gays and lesbians that kirk publicly condemns probably figured out how to downvote to.. or at least forward the link to their friends...
total shocker a racist, homophobic, former teen hearthrob who thinks a woman's place is to be barefoot and pregnant in the home got negative feedback in this day and age..

  7. I still don't see how this can be the worst movie ever made when there is now a "Jingle All the Way 2" starring Larry the Cable Guy.

  8. Brenda, Kirk plays a dude named Kirk who cherry picks lines from the Bible to show some dude that Santa and presents ARE part of the true meaning of Christmas. I haven't seen the movie. I read a recap of it. I refuse to watch any of those shitty movies.

    1. LOL @Pip, perfect! I watched the movie "Fireproof" and while I appreciate the general sentiment (marriage is worth fighting for), they used non-actors and it was painfully obvious. Plus some of the "rules" were just whaaat? Marriage can only succeed if there's a hierarchy in place? I don't even think so.

  9. The best part is when you realize that Christmas began as a pagan festival with zero religious meaning!

    1. W-e-l-l, yes and no. YULE started as the pagan festival, and Christmas WAS based on the birth of Christ. It would seem that we Christians usurped the timing of Christmas to coincide with Yule. (Biblical scholars have said that based on the animals grazing with the shepherds and such that Jesus was probably actually born in the fall or spring.)

  10. @Sherry, hah, we're having the same week! I wasn't feeling well this morning and just dazed around on the couch flipping through the 10 channels we get and watched Addams Family, Brady Bunch (the one where Ma Brady gets jealous of the Pink Lady), and then Love Boat came on. Fun fact: the woman who played Morticia Addams - the beautiful Carolyn Jones - was married to Aaron Spelling for 11 years!
