    2. I can tell you what the CIA should have done; brought in the professional interrogators from the Armed Services. They have years of experience, rather than weeks plus they all have been through waterboarding in CERE School. That being said, we did what we had to do.

  3. Working but only a half day. My brother is going to inpatient rehab tomorrow and I want to spend as much time with him today as possible. Hopefully, he will be gone for quite a while so maybe this time it will stick. Addiction sucks.

    2. Thank you all. I'm thinking he bailed. He never showed to where we were supposed to meet. I didn't think he was a flight risk but I should have known better. If he's not ready, he's not ready I guess.

    4. You're doing all that you can for your brother, and he's lucky to have you. I'm sending positive thoughts your way as well. I really hope things work out tomorrow.

    3. I went to a Maury taping and the mom of the baby in question was totally reading off the teleprompter if that helps you get motivated, Lawn :)

    4. There's nothing shameful about Povich g.o.m.lawn!As for you Kat,stop shattering my perceptions of trashy television ;)

    5. Phew! But seriously, between you and me going to a live taping of Maury is on my bucket list-none of that swimming with dolphins and Machu Piccu nonsense

    6. Ok tickle here's some advice. Do lots of arm curls before you go. The camera only shows the interesting audience members and when the mood-o-meter tells you what to emote, you feel the pressure to applaud, boo, be shocked... It seriously says those things, and man my arms were jello from applauding by the end! Then they said we could stay for another taping and they'd buy us all pizza if we waited! But I was way too exhausted!!!

    7. OMG Tickle - Dolphins and Machu Pinchu are totally ON my bucket list! How funny. Am I over reaching or just a cliché? Cheers, BW

    1. I just back from the dentist too - scrape, polish - I'm having a glass of red wine with my fluoride treatment still on ; )
Love hearing the good work Kat - front page of my valley / weekly paper is a story of two litters of kittens being left at the landfill!!!!! May those people die a horrible death. Why are people so evil?

    2. Kimba be sure to drink your red wine through a straw.

A pox on the fuckers that abuse animals (and don't spay and neuter their pets). I hope the landfill kittens were saved!

  6. Doing a big bunch of nothing except playing video games (Oh, poor pitiful me, right? lol) since my Dad won't let me do anything since he's worried about my bloody nose even though I'm 99.9999% sure it's just Sinusitis. Still, it's kind of nice being the one that is being waited on instead of the other way around for once. :)

    1. Rowdy, I think you were talking about a bloody nose a few days ago? I'm sure it's nothing, but if it keeps up, please think about having a doctor check that out! Men can be so stubborn when it comes to their health (hint).

    2. Erica, thanks for the concern but I'm happy to say it has finally stopped! I had a feeling it was just Sinusitis and last night I finally blew out the last of the clot (seriously, those things were nasty, they look like bloody slugs, sorry but that's the truth), sprayed some Afrin nose spray in, put some gauze in and went to bed. Woke up and nothing was in it, took it out and it's been dry ever since. I did call the Dr. yesterday and he's booked up til the end of the year and told me to just try some saline solution. So I was doing everything right (including sleeping in my chair to keep the stuff from choking me) and it ran it's course. But I appreciate the concern, it's more than a lot of people in my family did lol

    3. Rowdy, I'm very glad to hear the bleeding stopped and you're feeling better! You've given me quite the education about sinuses and bloody noses, but it's always good to learn something new. I'm pretty sure when I was a kid there was this guy who always loved to tell me that knowing is half the battle...

    4. Oh my God, you don't want to get me started on my GI Joe collection lol It's not as massive as my Transformers collection, but it could still pay for a college education at a community college (Yes, I still have the USS Flagg complete in near mint condition. It's 6 1/2 feet of gloriousness in my dedicated man cave/figure room lol)

    5. Rowdy - You live someplace with a high altitude? That'll do it to me.

    6. No, it's just that my Dad takes blood thinners since he has six stints in his heart and he's always cold so he keeps the central heat up and it dries up my sinuses. It caused them to dry out so much that they basically cracked open like they were cut and without knowing it, they clotted and collected a lot of blood and that was seeping out until they healed.

  8. I never realized how boring my life is until outtie asks about it everyday!

  9. Stayed home today. Sitting on the couch in my sweats, cuddling w/ the dog & enjoying the sounds of the storm outside. And watching season 3 of Friends.

  10. Right now, trying to figure out why I have been in an empty hospital waiting room for over an hour and a half, just for a CT scan that will only take two minutes. If a nurse tells me "soon" one more time, I will lose it. At least I have my phone and AG to entertain me, so I guess it could be worse.

  11. Still sick. Still craptastic and never went to the dr. So sure I have pneumonia. Going to urgent care tomorrow if my chest still hurts. Missed everyone today.

  12. Was awake until 7:00 in the fucking A.M. So I popped another muscle relaxer (got one or two dislocated/popped out ribs) and I prayed for sleep. Seriously what must you do these days to get real live pain killers? Naproxen (doesn't do shit) and the muscle relaxers don't do much. Anyway finally knocked myself out and slept til 1:30pm. Got up and cooked for an hour or so (spicy Morrocan Tagine) and by then it's dark outside AGAIN! Can hardly wait for the winter solstice to pass. I hate the dark!
