MTV Challenge Dedicated to Diem Brown and Ryan Knight

Entertainment Weekly reports that MTV has set a premiere date for the MTV Challenge: Battle of the Exes II. MTV is dedicating this season to the memory of both Diem Brown and Ryan Knight, both of who competed on the season. Brown competed with ex Chris "C.T." Tamburello, and Knight with ex Jemmye Carroll. Also new this season? Contestants from the MTV show Are You the One? will be joining the Real World and Road Rules castmembers. The show is set to premiere on MTV on January 6th at 11pm EST.

    When was the last time reality TV had an original idea? It's a constant rehash of programming that is 10-15 years old.

    How does one pronounce Jemmye? Is that like Kimye?

      I think it's pronounced like Jimmie.

      It's pronounced Jemmy (like Jimmy with an e)

    MTV is likely banking on this show drawing in a lot more viewers then usual because of the deaths.

    Good ? Karen. I'm not even sure. I suspect MTV doesn't but I think VH1 still does.
