Idina Menzel Confirms Sequel to Frozen

In an interview with The Telegraph, Idina Menzel (a.k.a. Adele Dazeem), the voice of Queen Elsa in Disney's Frozen, confirmed that a sequel is "in the works" and that she hopes to reprise her role. It's no surprise that Disney would want to capitalize on the first movie's success. The good news for parents is that they can possibly get "Let it Go" out of their heads in time to make room for whatever the sequel's hit song will be. That's good news, right?

  1. My 8 year old LOVES Frozen. I'd rather have a root canal than hear that song one more time.

  3. Idina Menzel is awesome. She was the original Elphaba on Broadway's Wicked and was the original Maureen in Rent, multiple Tony noms. I've never seen it, but Frozen is what put her in the right now spotlight for people who don't follow Broadway.

  4. The only song I played to many times enough to make my parents scream was Let it Go by Luba in the 80's. But that was actually a good song.

    Poor Idina.

  8. Does this mean Lea Michele will be stalking Disney Executives in the studio parking lot every day?

  9. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I don't hate on Disney for the frozen stuff. I think it's so easy as an adult to forget what it was like to want to be a Disney princes.. I was about my daughters age now when I watched little mermaid for the first time. Which led to like 4 years of believing I was a mermaid and singing "ahahahaaaaa" at the top of my lungs. So as much as I wish she would learn more than one line of let it go, I'm going to buy her as much frozen stuff she wants! She will be old and cynical soon enough anyways ;)
