Celebrity Real Estate - Sarah Jessica Parker Slashs Price

Sarah Jessica Parker recently slashed $2 million off the asking price of her New York City Townhouse, bringing the price down to $19.95 million. Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick renovated the townhouse, but never lived in it. See pictures of the property at Curbed.

    I like the round tub. Other than that...I'm sure the furniture in that house is tres chic and uber-expensive, but it doesn't look comfortable.

      It was clearly an investment flip which in and itself is not a bad idea if you bought the property at the right price and renovated at the right price

    How many places do they have in Manhattan? I love the other one she was photographed in a few months ago with the green velvet couch in the living room. This one looks huge but it's too cold for me.

    this was a failed attempt of sjp to try to cash in on the CARRIE BRADSHAW LIFESTYLE
    which really pisses me off b/c for years during and after s&tc she trashed the image of carrie and said she wasn't carrie in ANY WAY and tried so DAMN HARD to distance herself from anything remotely carrie b - like.. she was soooo vocal in her "i'm not at all like carrie and i don't really like her" but she had no problem cashing in on her,, she went so far out of her way to chose roles that were soooo un carrie and vocalize and snipe and back bite bite at every turn that she is nothing like carrie

    cut to years after s&tc ends and she has nothing relevant and what does she come out with?? a s&tc inspired shoe line "inspired" by carrie and what carrie would have loved and embodied and even naming the shoes after things from the show..
    she was too good for anything but movies and refused to do anything outside of s&tc unless it was a film and her character was anti-carrie and that all went nowhere..
    now where is she headed?? back to tv in a very carrie bradshaw like character..hmmmm

      Wow, you are so right. I remember her saying anti-Carrie crap a long time ago. I like her acting and I was a huge fan of SATC, but SJP tries too hard to be something she's not. I don't like her interviews.

      Preach! This was SJP's "shoe house." She never lived in it, but kept her clothes and shoes in it.

      There is no love for the real Carrie, Candace Brushnell, and SJP either.
