Not technically a beard, but this foreign born A list mostly television actor does have a movie in the awards season talking and his boss didn’t want him going solo to every event hence the girlfriend. The whole engagement thing was poorly planned though because there was no backstory planned or even how the proposal occurred.

ReplyDeleteThey were "confirmed as a couple" 5 months before the engagement announcement. I saw very few indications of coupledom prior to the announcement. A photo or two, but not much. It's entirely possible I missed a bunch of stuff, though.

DeleteHe was with his previous gf for 12 years long before he needed a "beard." Enty hates him so I'm not surprised by him perpetuating the gay rumor.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason they seem to think he has more public appeal coupled up rather than single. I love his voice, don't find him especially pretty but I also don't think he's gay. (NOT like there's anything wrong with it.)

ReplyDeleteYes but most British actors are far more discreet, and private about their personal lives serious actors don't call the tabloids every day. Hell Tom Hardy got married and no one knew until months later and frankly he still hasn't publicly uttered the words from his mouth yet since he hasn't been interviewed since this revelation. Just an article about a family member spilling the beans. Someone said Charlotte confirmed this at a premiere.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how years go by and you never ever see a vast number of talented actors in the news (outside of a movie promotion). Then you have Reese, Jennifer (insert last name of choice) or Emmy Rossum who call the paps every time she leaves the house.
