Rosario Dawson adopted a 12-year-old girl in October, Page Six reports. Dawson, 35, was adopted by her stepfather when she was 1. Dawson split with director Danny Boyle in 2013, and is currently single.
Good for her.. kids over the age of 2 always get passed over for the babehhh because people think just like a puppy they don't want someone else's damage in their home but everyone needs and deserves love and everyone needs a warm bed and a place to feel safe.. awww rosario you're gonna make me think about crying today... not actually crying per say. . Just thinking about the idea of what crying would feel like if I could possibly tap into those emotions. . Maybe Kristen Davis can recycle her Gemma Rose to Rosario when she's tired of pretending she's not a mom anymore. .food for thought on a Tuesday. .
+1,000,000 for Rosario! In my line of work, I've seen way too many truly wonderful, good older kids languish in the system for years. They eventually age out without ever being adopted, which is heartbreaking because all most of them want is to be part of some sort of family unit (regardless if it's a traditional or non-traditional one.)
I love her for doing this, and hope it encourages potential adoptive families to at least consider adopting an older child.
Thats wonderful. Most celebs on adopt little babies. Thats a very lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteFood move. Get a girl right before she grows an alien head of puberty.
ReplyDeleteActually good on Rosario. Hope this child is out if the foster system. Not everyone has to get a baby.
Gimme a call Rosario!
