Cee Lo Sticks Up For Bill Cosby

Unsurprisingly, Cee Lo has taken Bill Cosby's side in the wake of over 20 women coming forward at various times with similar, if not the same, stories. Cee Lo said, “But you can’t defend yourself, you just have to let facts be facts and so forth. The facts have to speak the loudest. None of this seems fair, but of course, for any victim in the situation it’s highly unfair. I definitely can’t judge him, it’s just unfortunate because he’s so beloved.”

In other Bill Cosby news, his Hollywood Walk of Fame star has been vandalized.

  1. "It's unfortunate because he's so beloved" ... and that is how molesters and rapists get away with it.

    1. Yes,a carefully worded statement until that last sentence....

  2. I don't hear a defense. I hear a slight comparison to both cases and Cee Lo's opinion on the confusion of it being a beloved figure.

    1. And I think it's horrible to vandalize the star. No matter what awful things he's done, he still was a part of Denise sewing Theo's Gordon Gartreille? shirt and all the anniversary specials with little Rudy lip syncing to Ray Charles.

    2. +1. Exactly HW items it too.

(But I really don't care what the jr. Cosby has to say.)

  3. Ugh! This and the Misty Upham story...

I'm going back to the vagina charger story.

  4. Well, having Ceelo in his corner really makes Bill look good, right? Ugh.

I believe he's a serial rapist, but I hate that Gloria Allred is involved.

    1. Yes I wondered how long before she weaselled herself into that situation which rightly or wrongly is not good for the victims overall IMO

  5. Maybe I read that wrong? It seems like he was basically saying "I don't want to be on record as saying anything against anyone here." Pretty much "No comment, but you can quote me,"
I'm no Cee Lo fan (wtf kind of name is Cee Lo, by the way?) but I don't see anything wrong with what he said. True enough, let the facts speak.
    Clear your voice facts.
Make sure you speak LOUD AND CLEAR.

  6. CeeLo stepped up when R. Kelly didn't.

I'm with you Meanie. Fun times STAT.

  7. This is why Cee Lo Green's statement is in support of Cosby:

CeeLo Green just pled no contest in the case where a woman accused him of slipping her ecstasy ... and the plea allows him to maintain his innocence.

CeeLo told us people should back off Cosby ... at least for now ... because it's not fair to convict him on social media -- especially when Cosby's been reluctant to publicly react to his accusers.

The singer -- who pled no contest in August to furnishing ecstasy to a woman he was dating -- added that prejudging is also unfair to the alleged victims.

    1. And let us not forget his tweets (since deleted) about how it's not rape if the women (he roofied) were unconscious.

    2. that's why he got fired from the voice as well
@7............... pharrell took his rapey greasy seat

    3. That's not the way I read his statement, though. I know that he's a douche, but he didn't exactly pull out the "Bill Cosby for President flag" He even said it's unfortunate because he's so beloved. That it's not fair to victims. Dunno, maybe this is my brain off day but I don't see why what he said was so wrong when he was asked to comment.
The guy has plenty of legit things to hate on, I just don't think this quote is one of them.

    4. It's not prejudging when the backstory fits the accusations.

A Timeline of the Abuse Charges Against Bill Cosby

He settled with one of his accusers. You know who else supports Bill Cosby? Whoopi "it's not rapey rape" Goldberg, who also supports Roman Polanski.

    5. I guess I'm not getting my point across correctly (like I said..brain off day) :) I mean that Cee Lo is a piece of shit and we all know that. However, when asked about the Bill Cosby thing he said pretty much what anyone would say in his position (ie wants to keep in good standing without saying outright how he feels) being wishy washy about the whole deal.I don't see the reason to rake his tired stupid worthless ass over the coals again when it's Cosby's turn to feel the heat.

    6. I know many of you dislike Woody Allen but Mia Farrow also supports Roman Polanski. So what's your point Seven? You're trying so hard to get us to agree with you but some of us won't.

    7. I dislike both Woody and Mia.

I'm not trying to get you to agree with me. Do or don't, that's your prerogative. Mine is to also be able to state my opinion. Isn't that the point of stating opinions? To ask others to see your side as well? I see yours and disagree, so I could also argue that "you're trying so hard to get us to agree with YOU but some of us won't".

Regardless, debate on a gossip blog is rarely fruitful (unless it's about Angie vs JenA, that's always fun to see!), so how about we say to each her own and call it good. :)

    8. @Bacon Ranch...jmo, but I see the person who said it as the main problem, and not the actual quote itself. CeeLo "it's not rape if the woman is unconscious" Green, is really the last person who should be doing PR for Cosby. If asked to comment, CeeLo simply shouldn't have. And if he was not asked and just offered up his 2cents on his own, he needs to learn how to stfu. CeeLo should not be making ANY statements at all regarding sexual assault because it's just so hypocritical.

  10. This reminds me of an old SNL skit where a known woman abuser (can't remember which one, maybe Chris Brown?) was holding a charity event and he kept getting donations from people like OJ Simpson and Ike Turner.

    Birds of a feather...

  11. I can't be unbiased in this since I never got my Picture Pages I ordered as a kid, so I've had a problem with Dr. Mr. Prof. Ms. Bill Cosby, DDS. DEA. IRA. ASCAP. AAMCO AAA MLB NHL NFL NBA WWE WWF, ed. ever since (even though I LOVED "Bill Cosby Himself")

  12. Cee Lo is one of many fuckwits that just can't resist making a comment. Someone sticks a microphone in their face, they can't keep quiet and walk away. They have to feel important so they have to chime in.

Are there any classy entertainers left? Very few, very few.
