The Interview Comes To A Theatre Near You

Sony has reversed its position on releasing The Interview once again, and has decided to release the movie on Christmas Day after all. Many of the large theatre chains are still refusing to screen the movie, but Entertainment Weekly has a comprehensive list of where you can see The Interview. If you don't see a location near you yet, keep checking the link. They are updating the list as more theatres confirm their participation.

  1. So do they think since internet is down in NK they won't know they've released it? I don't understand the 180 they've decided to pull.

  2. I don't trust the Sony. Something is still fishy about this and now I don't want to see it.

  3. I won't see it in the theaters Christmas Day but I would VOD it sometime this weekend. I don't understand going to the movies on Christmas, I'd rather be with my family. You can watch a movie any day of the year.

  4. I wouldn't doubt if this was just a publicity stunt for the movie.

    1. That's been my belief, as well. I wondered at first if maybe Russia wasn't putting the heat to N.K, since I don't believe N.K. would be capable of any sort of credible threat to the US. But that ended quickly and I now believe that it was a publicity stunt for a movie they know is going to suck out loud.

    2. Been my thought too. Hype up a bad movie that wouldn't make much originally and maximize profits by bringing in people who wouldn't normally see the movie, but will now just to see what the fuss is about.

    3. Ditto..Never once really believed it was NK but rather a disgruntled employee.

  5. I wasn't going to see it before, and I'll probably not see it now, unless it airs on cable sometime. Even then, I'll look for something better.

  6. All this fuss over a stupid looking movie? Something ain't right here.

I wouldn't even watch it for free in a bunker surrounded by Marines.

  9. If they gave me a free copy, I'd throw it away. Can't believe people are falling for this ruse.
