    1. Amen. Some weekends I don't get dressed or leave the house at all. (I DO shower, but then it's just...fresh jimjams.)

    2. AKM you sound like my kinda gal. Jammies, books, tea. Since I've been sick & forcibly not at work, I indulge in a lit of this.

  8. I was cleaning out my "favourites" folder and came across this link I saved. It is for the 1978 Rock n' Roll sports classic. You would never see anything like this today - Jackson 5 (presurgeries) , Commodores, ELO, Rod Stewart, Sha-Na-Na competing in sports events. Worth the watch - Kenny Loggins in a Speedo.

    1. Omg @Lisi, that is the most amazing video I've ever seen lol!!! Who knew black people with afros could swim lol! No seriously, seeing Michael Jackson do athletic stuff is mind blowing! And then you have Rod Stewart and Lita Ford? Together? Incredible.

  9. ******************************spoiler alert homeland *********************

okay..underwhelming finale to say the least..
1st carrie is as we know bipolar and they only see things as black and white.. no gray area.. and they have a high moral compass.. so it really pissed carrie off when she yelled at her sister that "who just leaves their child?" and she said"you did!"
grey area creeping in and not being able to process it..
then when she finds out her mom was having multiple affairs b/c she couldn't handle her husband's bipolar episodes.. carries realized her own reckless promiscuity without thought of consequences was something else she had in common with her mother, albeit begrudgingly. and getting pregnant b/c of an affair was also causing her to connect with her mother and she can't have a grey area.. i need to know who the father of her half brother is.. i think there's a huge backstory there that's going to get explored next season..for some reason i'm foreshadowing saul. i don't know why but i am..
bipolar's have to have it black or white so they can compartmentalize and move on quickly, and the fact that she is seeing so much grey area all of a sudden is slowing her thought process down..

quinn... i think he's being set up by the guy from the cia dar_- can't remember his name, but i had a bad feeling when he walked into the airport hanger.

i think saul cut whatever deal he had to cut to get back in the game. we know that he knows that dar_ was in the car w/ akani and that he is a double agent. i don't trust mira. i think she is not to be trusted at all...saul knows he had to play along and agree to whatever terms in order to get the video back and get back in the cia..

thoughts lady h or freaky fries???

    1. HOMELAND SPOILERS
      My thoughts were similar @royaltits.
      PS-What's up @Tacky Fries!?

*I wonder how much of Carrie's black and white thinking comes "naturally" versus as a result of her experiences. Black and white thinking is also Carrie's best defense mechanism. She can justify away anything and this goes with the whole black and white thinking of "us vs them" in regards to international relations and the war on terror
*I am surprised no one has brought up that Carrie's serotonin levels are likely jacked from being drugged...
*Pot meet kettle with Carrie's mom returning, amirite? Damn you absentee mother- never mind that I am one of you now! You're the worst.
*Yay! The A Team trio is back in full force. I missed Carrie & Saul
*NOOOOOOO!!! I will not be shipping on Quirrie!!! Yes you would fuck this charming man up Carrie.
*I know a guy in the Army who used to have to deliver notifications about deaths. Worst job everrrrr. Fuck that butthead. Interesting how that stack of letters and "happy holidays" cut into Carrie knocking mom's door
*Stop dragging out the Dar Adal arc for Carrie's family dramarama gahhh
*We are the no men in no men's land...I figured Dar wanted Saul in Lockheart's place the question is why
*Huh...Dar has the power to remove people from the kill list? Damn.
*Now Carrie blaming Mom for her relationship issues and commitment phobia BWAHAHAHA
*Why didn't she tell Quinn that Dar was in the car with Haqqani?!? Pffft
*So sad how Quinn wanted to debrief and kick rocks but couldn't do it alone. I wonder if Carrie is even capable of feeling any sense of survivors guilt should something happen to Quinn. Too little too late, indeed...
*I do enjoy that Carrie's typical "give me what I fucking want or else" tantrum finally backfired. Apparently, this leads to a lot of angsty driving...
*So what was the envelope for Carrie regarding? Dad's death? Quinn's?

      Oh, Carrie....WHY?!??

    2. great thoughts..
well you brought it up, those were kill letters right??
to be delivered if they don't make it back//
i guess quinn's to be notified in case of death is carrie..
i didn't know what those letters were though, thanks for pointing that out
ans i think they didn't tell quinn about dar adal to keep him from going in to langley and killing him himself. only now dar has sent quinn on basically a death mission..i hope quinn comes back

    3. I can't imagine what the hell else those letters are. It sounded to me like the boss was manipulating Quinn into the mission by putting him on death letter duty. Then, rubbed the pain in more by being like, yeah, that stack will be way fatter for you to deliver later if you leave us hanging (ie the blood is on your hands). Of course Quinn would fall for that.

Just like that letter, I think Quinn's fate has sadly already been written AND sealed...
