I seen him in concert a few years ago. It was late summer, and like 7 pm. He was opening for the Steve Miller Band. As soon as he opened his mouth, it was like sex. All these women around me were losing it. I've never seen so many bras, and shirts thrown at the stage, and there he was up there eating it all up. Pelvic thrusting and groping the microphone. The man was living the dream!
I've seen him in concert about 8 times. So happy to say that. He was awesome every time. Every time he came through town I tried to always go.. rip buddy..
RIP. I can't even.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame. RIP Joe
ReplyDeleteBoy my husbands gonna be upset..He loves Joe Cocker and actually saw him in concert when he was a child (my husband, not Joe).

ReplyDeleteI can never hear his voice and not immediately think of The Wonder Years.
