Clint Eastwood Back On The Market

Clint Eastwood is single again, just in time for the holidays! Page Six reports that Eastwood's divorce from wife Dina Eastwood was finalized on Monday in Monterey, CA. The couple split in June 2012. Sadly for us, the financial terms of the divorce were not disclosed. Eastwood had previously attempted to deny Dina spousal support. The couple were married for 18 years, and had one daughter together, Morgan, 18.

    1. I tried to explain this creep factor to my husband the other night when a trailer popped up hustling his new movie - Creeps. Hubby didn't understand - he's British and CE is an iconic figure - though the car situation did some tarnishing. That's was a good laugh. Maybe he's early onset of dementia?

    1. Not to mention the deplorable way he treated Sondra Locke. Karma missed him.

  5. Man, he was hot stuff back in the day.

He filmed part of American Sniper in my town and I heard he was very nice to the locals.

  7. That empty chair thing did a lot of damage to his image. He went from being a well-respected actor and director to a cranky old man griping to his long-dead buddy about how the libs are ruinin' the country. It's a shame, I like most of his movies.

    1. I feel a duty to speak up and say that I found the chair skit brilliant. I don't remember what he said or how much I agreed with at the time, but the premise of talking to the empty chair was a new and exciting idea and he performed very very well. It sure got everyone's attention!

  8. I never understood Eastwood's appeal myself. He has demented Hollywood star syndrome. Truly believes women want him for himself and not as a golden ticket.

  9. I used to be a big Eastwood fan back in the days before he got all political or had a dozen wives with half a dozen (ignored) kids. I'm pretty much over his cranky old man movies too but I like some of the stuff he's directed.
It's always struck me as strange the way he not only dumps his women but dumps his kids as well. Kind of like - I'm done with this family, time to move on, leave them behind and start the next one. I've never understood why he made Sondra Locke abort their kid when he doesn't seem to care who else has his spawn.
