This actor is so furious that he doesn’t even know who the target of his fury should be! He’s mad at his attorney, who didn’t do exactly what he said he did; and the executives who he feels didn’t support him; and the media who hypothesized that he is lying; and those who are laughing about the fact that he just isn’t nearly as important and influential as he thinks he is.
How will he cope with all this fury and humiliation? Lots of alcohol – and spending time with his boyfriend – while his wife hangs out out nearby.

You can hv same sex friends and not be remotely sexual with them. Ive said it before, i had a best friend from 2nd grade to high school and beyond, we were together ALL the time and absolutely zero sex was involved. ( except for talking about our latest crush/ boyfriend!). So basically this blind is saying clooney angry and pissed off and is spending alot of time talking to his male friend.

The more famous, respected, talented, etc people come out, the easier it is for the everyday person to do so. I can't wait for the day that people don't have to hide in the closet for fear of being ostracized.

So are we saying this is all about the N. Korea petition incident? How does an attorney factor into that? Are we saying that the studios didn't support him by signing the petition? And are we saying that Clooney is lying because he didn't really send the petition (since apparently nobody claims to have seen it so they could sign it)? Are we saying that everyone is laughing at him because he's not such a hot shot after all?
ReplyDeleteI guess I can see the Clooney references, but golly, he must have some thin skin to go off the rails because of this one incident. Unless, of course, he fears it comes back to haunt him if he wants to seek political office. Can't get the Hollywood crowd to follow his lead, how can he negotiate with (pick one) another country or political party, convince constituents of his position, enlist support for his campaign.
Hollywood types are all fair weather friends, it seems to me. They will be licking his boots the next time he 1) has a hit or 2) is casting for a big budget movie.
Yes they are KarenW. Too chicken to sign a petition. But I can see him being pissed that he didn't have enough power to move people to stand up. Doesn't bode well if you want people to vote for you some day.

There was some strange article I read in a magazine at the dentist the other day, claiming that George had emailed Amy-what's-her-name at Sony, apologising for not plugging something hard enough, fretting he'd caused it to fail ... I eye rolled at it because it didn't sound plausible. But maybe that has something to do with this.

I've always thought he was bi, but was really struck by someone posting something about him being Cary Grant-ish...Grant was in some o f the hottest kissy scenes..cloon does not kiss in films..I can't think of any screen heat since that jlo flick. Anyway, no one got his petition, so yeah, could be a lie..and he's known to be a mean drunk and he's probably sorry he left his cushy office at warner for the Sony mess. Hell, he makes most of his millions shilling stuff in eur and asia anyway.
ReplyDeleteI have a theory on Cary's on-screen heat despite his personal life. He could pull that off because I think that was his preference. He was kinda a dirty old man with women went he had the choice. With so much younger wives, being sued by hookers for paternity, getting caught in a limo accident with a young female hooker, and so on. I strongly suspect he was gay for pay/career or social advancement. Cause all of his gay relationships were with wealthy or powerful men who did things to that end for his benefit- Scott, Hughes, Orry-Kelly, etc. Once he secured his own power & fortune he left all those guys behind and wasn't in another gay relationship again. I do hate to burst that bubble though, as it is so much fun to think of Mr. Sex Icon actually being gay. But that aspect of the story, his sudden stop in gay relationships, is too puzzling.

ReplyDeleteI seem to recall there was a straight porn actor who did the gay porn because it paid so much better even though he said he hated every moment of it.
Years ago Louis Theroux did a short doco on porn actors and I vividly recall his interview with the straight guy who does gay porn because it pays well. They were filming in a ski chalet and after the shoot he hit the slopes with the kind of look on his face that suggested he was trying very hard to avoid asking himself certain hard questions
