Yolanda Foster Suffers Lyme Disease Relapse

After making progress for years after her initial diagnosis, Real Housewife of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster has suffered a serious relapse. Page Six reports that she has lost the ability to read, write, and even watch television because she is unable to process information or any form of stimulation. She is currently in Singapore seeking experimental treatment for the disease.

  3. Load of more real ho-wives crap. I have a friend who has Lyme and finally started on the road to recovery after they figured out what it was (Lyme is a b* to diagnose) and while she was debilitated several times, she didn't lose the ability to watch TV as far as I know. A real ho-wife who can't watch TV would probably HAVE to file for disability benefits.

If she couldn't process information, how did she find out about the Singapore treatment and book the flight and hotel? Or pay an assistant to do it for her - could she process that she needed an assistant that had to be paid?

  4. I think there is more going on here than lyme disease. I know alot of perps with lyme, and they dont have these symptoms. Sounds more like a brain tumor. And im certainly not wishing that on her.

    1. That is what I was thinking auntliddy, I think if this is for real she may have some other neurological issue which may or may not be related to the lyme disease and I hope that she went to a good neurologist first to eliminate any other causes before trying "experimental" treatment which might do more harm than good

    2. I've got 2 friends with Lyme Disease. Both diagnosed at abouth the same time, close in age. One male, one female. The male is recovering well, but the female struggles with day to day tasks. I think it might be medicine not factoring in gender in treatment.

    3. there is no doubt that victims of Lyme Disease do run a large range of minor to major issues and recovering times seem very individual which has to be so frustrating, just hope that Yolanda is able to get back into remission I rather like her, she seems like this sweet lady that's been put down into this alien universe IMO

  6. I hope she is seeking proper medical care and recovers. I wonder why her team felt the need to announce this at this stage.

  7. Getting on a plane or going to Singapore is going to be stimulation overload. Maybe not a good idea?

  9. Autoimmune diseases are such bullshit because even though she has all the money in the world, finding the treatment that is what her body needs is nothing but trial and error. The only thing that gets you cured is ideas and time as long as your body doesn't give up before you get your lucky break. I feel so bad for her because I too have an autoimmune disease that affects my thinking and the hardest part wasn't finding the cure on my own (by the luckiest chance in the world) but that most people don't buy it and think it's an excuse. She put her hope in those lemons thinking that was her magic cure, and the only way to know is to try it 100% all or nothing. Finding out you have to start over from zero is the worst gut punch.
Things like this always make me think of Robery Goullet who slowly died while waiting for a lung transplant. Even with all his money he couldn't just buy one.

And yes tonight is the poker party!!!!!! I can't wait!!

    1. Well he could but not in a legal and ethical manner. So give him kudos for not going that route.

  10. she did go to thailand last year after filming for a month for vacay but it was for plastic surgery too *alledgedly*

i too have 2 types of autoimmune and nothing helps me and people think me always being tired is an excuse but i need to nap every couple of hours..

@kat what was your cure if you don't mind???
autoimmune usually has to be cured from inside out.. surgery won't fix it
i'm looking into a bone broth diet for a few weeks

  12. I too surfer from one. I did 6 mos of the Body Ecology Pro/Pre-biotic round of immune restoration and all my numbers are great now. Previously I was deficient in numerous minerals and vitamins even though I was eating clean and taking Doctor prescribed vitamins; in addition, my T3/T4, cortisol, DHEA, and Tfree numbers were acting like they were on crack. After 6 mos of her super probiotics all of my numbers starting improving greatly. It re-set my whole 'system'. So much so my Doctor now recommends his patients do what we tried with me. Not sure if this could help either of you, but it was worth it to me. Everything else had been a total waste of time.

    2. Yes some were refrigerated and some were not. But just google body ecology and it will pop right up. Doc and my naturopath (I swear I'm not a new age freak), took me off all my other vitamins/minerals and put me on the body ecology stuff.
Go here (sorry on a mobile don't know how to make it clicky)

I started w Be Clean and then went on with different items that were specific to my needs. But take the Vitality Super Green no matter what plan you use after the 'clean' process. Another girlfriend did this after being very ill and the hospital, and she said it totally changed everything. And yea I've had the hair thing happen. It's the worst. And so tired I could not get out of bed. And then so manic that I feel like my body is a bus, but I'm not driving it. I totally know what you are dealing with. I lost years of my life, the early years of my son's life, because I have no memory of what happened. But you pick yourself and get on with it. It's an expensive venture, but it worked for me. Good luck!
